Reviews
Adobe if you are reading this, please reconsider your new updates.
You are punishing us for using the sketchbooks and art supplies YOU GAVE US. We did not download your apps for you to not only invade other people’s privacy by looking through our documents, but for you to sell it off to third party companies and use our artwork for AI without permission.
I’m disappointed in you. You know you are better than this.
Adobe abuses copyright
They want to use private data to train their AI without your consent.
Great app!
Provides a decent amount of tools for free! It’s really great for those interested in art, but not super serious or committed about it. I use it for high school art assignments, it works great!
Lost a full day of work to an issue known to Adobe
Went to continue an illustration only to realize all of my progress had been lost. Doesn’t exist in the version history or cloud. People have been reporting this issue for more than 3 years and Adobe will not fix it.
Amazing app just one small problem
The app is really nice but after you have a lot and a lot of projects it slows down a bit.
Image Editing!
I’ve actually been using Fresco to edit images in my iPhone. Works great! I find for what I’m using it for, it’s the ONLY Adobe iPhone app that has the tools I need.
Not easy to use
This app makes drawing and illustrating painful. Don’t waste your time.
Live paint brushes!!
Are you kidding?? I have been using this app for three years over any other illustration app for tablets. The fact that you can have both vector layers and raster layers in one document is incredible and the reason I will not go to Procreate over Fresco. The life brushes in watercolour and oil paint options are such a pleasure to work with the way that they blend and interact with each other is like nothing else.
No symmetry feature?
Seems like a pretty standard feature that should be included in an adobe drawing app 😕
Unreliable performance
Constantly dealing with technical issues. The program, when it’s working, is a good one, but it’s not worth the risk when you’re on a deadline and files keep crashing. Have tried everything to regain access to an important file; software update, hardware compatibility, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but there seems to be no way around it (which is devastating). Just always dealing with issues and in light of the fact that you’re paying a pretty penny for the subscription I would expect more from the program. At this point I can’t deal with losing files anymore, and as much as I’ve been a longtime loyal Adobe user, it’s illogical to keep repeating the same mistakes. Gonna have to take the L and switch over to the other guys. At least that app only asks you to pay once. Adobe should be doing more to stay competitive.
