Buggy; transfering to Notion

Hopeless mobile version, not worth the money I’m paying for it. Sorry, Airtable, I’m moving my data to Notion.

Honestly…

UPDATE: Two years later and nothing in the area of mobile usability has improved. It’s a terrible experience on mobile. Dreadful. I don’t care if the functionality of this mobile app was barebones BUT PLEASE make it mobile friendly. With the resources Airtable has, I can’t believe how underwhelming it is. Touch targets are so small. It still feels like the same app I tried a few years back. Put some resources into making it great for crying out loud.

Doesn’t even load on iPhone

This app has always been buggy and crash prone but I just tried to open it and it wouldn’t even load anything and started strobing my screen

Make it work on the iPhone, please!

How is this an iOS app and it doesn't work on the iPhone?

Specifically about the app…serious UI improvements needed

When entering new records on an iPhone or iPad, there is no “Save” or “Save and New” button so the only way to “save” a record is to press the “x” to close the window. sometime that saves the record and other times it doesn’t. Very often when entering record before I am finished entering it the window closes and I have a partial a Record. I am using this as I walk around a greenhouse and entering new tasks to be completed and I need accuracy and not duplicate and partial records! If this is fixed I think it would be a terrific app

A ~50MB app from a major tech company?? Love it!

Airtable is great and Google sheets are an outmoded way of thinking. We all know that. But what I want to praise is the software craftsmanship that leads to Airtable being only 56MB in size! Basic 2FA Authenticator apps are 200MB these days. This shows off a level of detail and care for their software that few emulate. Mad props to the coders.

Terrible mobile interface for sharing calendars

BlackExcellence1 on

This app is horrible and not intuitive at all. I wanted to see my shared group calendar on the app and couldn’t figure it out. This Govea the perception that it is not meant for mobile

Limited features

JunieMoon on

After using Airtable the last year or two it’s been very easy to use and add records with no fees. However, if you’re looking for a database in which you can recover mistakes, this is not the app for you. I mistakenly deleted the wrong database. There is an undo button but at last maybe a split second and if you don’t see it, you’re never gonna have the option to undo it and because of that I lost one year worth of work in a database so for me this app gets a one star if I could give it less I would.

Can’t populate bases

MMS9702 on

Trying to take advantage of template bases but keeps crashing on me

Beware

Josakis on

You think you can use this for crafts then all of the sudden it errors everytime you try to add to your list. And in order to continue to use this data base it will cost you 20$ per month. If you want it to keep your stamps purchases documented start out by company. 1 data base per company or you will run out of space and need to pay 20$ to use it. For what I use it for I would pay 5$ a month. But they don’t have options in the low price range. I used to recommend this app to other stampers/card makers now I warn them.
