Alat has been a game changer for me but I am having problem recently when I changed my phone. I cannot receive OTP code so can’t use the service since August. Spoke, emailed, charted with customer support but no one seems to have an answer to my request.
This is doesn’t even allow me to transfer my money 😭
I downloaded this app, hoping to register my Wema bank account, this app creates an account automatically for me and they keep emailing me to fund the account. I call the bank to delete this account and put in my main account, I was asked to get a form notarised because I’m abroad, i notarised the form, the changed my email and phone number successfully but could not get my account on the ALAT app. Each time I call the bank, I hear different stories and have to go over the same thing. One of them said they need to get authority from the Head of Alat before they switch my account and I was like, what does the CEO of alat has to do with my account? Another one said they need to have a video call with me ( even though the branch manager where My account is domiciled already had a video call with me) I provided my availability and time, for months now I’m still waiting for the call. I sent my IDs including my passport and drivers license to the Wema bank main email as requested, I did everything I was asked to do, yet the bank has not been able to get my account on the alat so I could run it. Each time I call, they will say ‘ pleas visit a local branch so they will assist you’ even though it clearly says on my account that I’m abroad. The CEO that they said needs to give approval for me to have my account on ALAT is yet to remember that there’s someone called Josephine whom he needs to attend to outside his schedule. Or the phone with which they’ll make a video call has no internet. Whatever the case may be, please whoever is in charge of this app should sort my account. Thank you
Since the last update on August 4th 2022, the app can not open on my iPhone 6. It crashes whenever I try to open it. Kindly review and fix.
Each time I logged on, it kept on popping up ‘download a new version’ I’ve deleted almost every icon on my App but still same message. Even I deleted the WEMA App and reinstalled, same problem. Couldn’t see where to get the Domicilliary account page. Big frustration
Slowest app I have ever experienced in my life, having timeouts every time. Useless servers

It has taken me 4 months to reset my password and they are yet to get it done. This is really shameful. This app is full of glitches. Try resetting your password and put a non existing email, it will take you to the next stage but if you put your email, it will display error. The former app is far better.
