Great support
Like others have commented, this is a complex and powerful app. Lots of support via the built in help and the hotjam website. I have done lots of reading and viewing tutorial videos but hit a snag yesterday. I emailed the creators for help and got extremely prompt, detailed, helpful feedback that was almost perfect (but didn’t quite solve my problem). I told them, and recently another immediate email with an alternate solution that was spot on. Brilliant support! (Note, the issue wasn’t with the app but with how iOS handles files and file sharing when it comes to graphics and importing).
I could not fault the developer’s commitment to supporting that wonderfully powerful app.

Fantastic but could you incorporate the ability to draw straight on background please….be the icing on the cake😀
What i mean by rotating rig
There is an animation software called moho witch uses rotating bones which are handles aswell and it will rotate the figure as much as you want for example instead of the figure facing the front it turns to the side using the handle/bone
I dont want to use moho as its much harder and i am used to animation pro (also cause moho costs more money)
Complicated but fun
A whole lot more than I really needed. I just wanted something like CrazyTalk that actually worked. This is the nearest I could get.
I’ve already spent an amusing hour playing with it.
Very good
This is app is a lot of fun. It makes animating simple and I really like how easy it is to just pivot a body part etc to achieve movement.
Also, you can add audio and then the built in mouths or mouths that you make yourself will automatically sync with the words in your audio. How good is that?
I don’t use the inbuilt drawing editor, but instead import characters that I’ve made in a vector drawing app. And then I can change the colour, shape, size etc in this app.
The app has a lot of advanced functionality which means you have to put some work in to get started. But for me, any app that lets me do stuff on my ipad instead of a computer is a major win.
And yes, it costs a bit, but you’re getting a lot for the money plus solid regular updates and complete help files and tutorials.
Very Effective
An amazing app and quite powerful for an app on iPad. It has a steep learning curve for an older person (73). It took me a while to get the hang of it but it certainly can do it all. Having said that it has a good range of training videos and notes.
Powerful
Leverages known sprite animation concepts that software engineers will be familiar with but usable by kids with prior tutoring. Room for improvements (UI, selecting multiple items at once to delete on multiple frames, etc), nevertheless still worth the money as you can create great stuff in no time. Clearly a lot of work has gone into building and documenting the app

Good
This app is perfect for Animation that you want to use on YouTube but I do have to admit the app takes hours to make minutes plus characters are extremely difficult to make although I have been able to make intricate videos with good quality.
I believe that you should look at computer 3D Animation and make it so you can skip ahead five frames move a limb drastically and have all the frames change to make it look like Its moving
Sensational App
I’ve purchased a number of animation apps for my iPad Pro and this one is the best. For a noob like myself it was a bit off a learning curve however I got the hang of it pretty quickly with the help of the how-to clips on YouTube and through trial and error. I use Procreate to design the characters and break them down to their moving components then export them to Animation Pro for the animation. I did have an issue with exporting my first clip however after reaching out to the developer I got the advice I needed to sort that out. The support was comprehensive and timely. So thanks to the team at AnimationPro for your fine product. I look forward to making fun animations with this great tool and look forward to seeing what updates and improvements they have up their sleeve.
