Description

Anxiety Release shows you how to release anxious thoughts and feelings naturally, by harnessing the power of your brain. It does this by combining guided instructions and focused attention with bilateral brain stimulation. Bilateral stimulation is a treatment element of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing), a revolutionary treatment which is based on the use of sensory stimulation to alter anxiety-provoking memories and responses. Over 30 randomized controlled studies of EMDR attest to the efficacy of this process.
Because bilateral stimulation appeals to the unconscious, sensing part of the brain, there is no need for effortful thinking or struggling with feelings. All you have to do is LISTEN and your brain will do the rest! The App consists of;
1 x brain training session
2 x guided anxiety management sessions
1 x pure bilateral stimulation session (audio & visual)
1 x safe place exercise
Progress Log function
Powerful Bls brain visual
This App is suitable for both clinicians and clients
Caution: Persons suffering with complex PTSD or mental health problems, multiple psychological trauma or unstable neurological conditions (eg; epilepsy) should not use this product without medical supervision.

Anxiety Release based on EMDR Reviews

Can’t believe this thing cost money

The few that have no talking are moderately relaxing but the volume on the voices is entirely out of balance and there’s not way to modify it. What the voices are saying just comes off as dumb, I’m not focused on relaxing, just getting upset that something so low quality, ai voice sounding, and weirdly worded cost $5. There’s free versions of this that are higher quality out on the internet. Not recommended

So helpful for intense moments of anxiety. I always feel better after using it. Therapist recommended and it has been a life saver!

When can we expect an update?

I love this application! The only problem is that my iPhone continually tells me that I will not be able to use all of the features on the application until the developer update the application! When can we expect an update?! You would've gotten a five star rating for me if you would keep up with updates. I'm looking on here and see nothing post 2014

Really works

I found this no-frills app recommended by a therapist to be really well thought out and extremely effective: as a bedtime meditation, to get back to sleep from a 3am panic attack, or to a calmer state in difficult ongoing/triggering situations. This app has shifted my answer to the question, if you were stranded on a desert island and could only take one thing… ;-) Try it! It took me a few listens to really grok it and feel the effects. It’s a bit cumulative.

99 cents would be more appropriate

“Meh” The voiceover is more distracting than helpful. Some tracks are missing the tones. Wish I’d just found a bilateral tone audio track instead of spending this $5.

Please update this app for iOS 14.7.1

I’ve used this app for a few years but I can no longer use it because the app needs to be updated in order to run on my new iPhone 12 with iOS 14.7.1. Please update ASAP so I can continue to use this great tool. Thank you!

Works for me

I use it exclusively when there is an external crisis that causes me intense anxiety. I use a different app for day-to-day stress and insomnia, Relax & Sleep Well ͏b͏y Glenn Harold. This EMDR app is an amazing health tool for me. I have had a trained EMDR therapist session once and I know how effective these tools can be. This one will take anxiety down a few notches. Glad to have it in “the tool box”!

Excellent app

I worked with this program to better understand my inner child and feel safer. I feel better after using it. Please try it for yourself.

Does not play in binaural

Sadly this app does not deliver its promise. The L R speaker alternation does not occur when played from iPhone. App maker unresponsive. Wasted my money here.
