Unreliable Service, Deceptive Practices, and Incompetent Support
My experience with this bike-sharing company was nothing short of a nightmare. I prepaid for their services, expecting a convenient and hassle-free experience. However, when I found myself in need of their service during a crucial moment, they utterly failed me. The trouble began with the app's bad UX, which failed to transparently indicate parking zones. I reached out to customer support with a direct question about how the parking system worked. They responded with vague instructions that didn't address my inquiry directly. Despite following their misty instructions, we were charged a fee for what was deemed as bad parking, even though we adhered to the support's guidance. This unexpected charge left our net balance in the negative, rendering us unable to borrow another bike, despite having a week pass purchased. In desperation, we were forced to top up money to enable the service, despite already having a week pass purchased. It's incredibly frustrating to be extorted for more money when we had already paid for the service. To add insult to injury, when we demanded a refund for the unjust charge, we were refused. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable. In conclusion, this company's unreliable service, deceptive practices, and lack of accountability make them one to avoid at all costs. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this disaster of a bike-sharing service. Giving them one star is too generous for the headache they caused me. It's truly disappointing to see that the founder and CEO of Anywheel, Htay Aung, was once recognized in Forbes30under30 while leading a company in this direction. Such recognition typically signifies innovation, leadership, and positive impact, but it's disheartening to witness the disconnect between accolades and actual company practices.
