For lounge bfast … suggest to include some comfort meal as part of al la carte choices. Eg some noodle/vermicelli soup - fish ball or chicken soups. I always enjoy my stay in shangri la. Thanks.

This hotel is designed to suit the customer needs. The staff is friendly & helpful. The F&B & the front desk manager is so helpful & acknowledge feedback with fast action taken. The room is well equipped with international adaptors & USB ports. We enjoyed the wonderful swimming pools & breakfast. Thank you Golden Sand for my wonderful birthday cake & stay🙏🥳
Favourite Penang hotel
First I was staying in the now disappeared palm beach hotel 40 years ago. Then when golden sands started I have been using it since. Best hotel. Have stayed in next door rasa sayang but golden sands is better for the vibrant atmosphere.

I wanted to book a cake in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and although i have selected the respective Shangri La KL, the applications insist on taking me to HK Kowloon/ Island Shangri La……frustrating!
