Description

Just place a finger over the camera for two minutes, and StressScan will analyze changes in your heart rate and scientifically measure the level of your mental and physical stress on a scale of 1 to 100.
Stress is the root cause of many illnesses. Measure your stress to manage it!
- What is the principle behind StressScan? −
Many of the functions essential to maintaining human health are controlled by the autonomic nervous system. It is medically recognized that the balance of the autonomic nervous system can become disordered through fatigue and other stress, stemming from causes such as work and human relationships. By analyzing the waveform of your heartbeat as measured at the fingertip, StressScan can analyze the balance of your autonomic nervous system and measure your stress level on a stress index of 1 to 100.
- You can trust StressScan! -
The technology used by StressScan is based on heart rate variability analysis, which is widely recognized in the field of heart rate analysis and autonomic nervous system research.
Although heart rate variability analysis technology is not yet generally well known, many medical institutions and companies have taken an interest and are beginning to put it to use. The technology is seeing use even at the cutting edge of stress care, including adoption by the US military to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in soldiers returning from the battlefield, and by NASA for astronaut training and health management.
- Usable in a range of scenarios! -
· Periodic checking of daily stress level
· Checking the effects of favorite meals and drinks on stress
· Checking relaxation while traveling or at a favorite spot
- Device compatibility -
The app is intended for use with a camera- and flash-equipped smartphone. It is not usable with devices that do not have a camera and flash.
- Usage environment -
An Internet connection is required to use the app. External support for measurement functions is used for complex stress analysis.

StressScan Reviews

Very Innacurate

Okay so here’s the deal. I got this app thinking that it would just measure my heart rate and I would get a normal report. But how does it make sense that at RESTING, my heart going from 43 bpm up to 145+ bpm! This app is very bad at measuring your heart rate so do not use it.

Wrong measurement

Mathieu Dutour Sikiric on

United States

I was lying down and the measurements showed 48-52 bpm. Sounds reasonable even if on the low side. Then the measurements exploded to totally unreasonable values above 100. Maybe the app wants to stress you?

At first I thought this app would be correct and help me with my stress, but every time I do it when I am not in the middle of something it says I am like on a 90 something meaning I have a very high stress index when I don’t all of the time.

Not reliable

I use several apps to measure my heart beat. This app used to be reliable but lately the readings jump up and down so i have stopped using it

Don’t think it’s accurate for stress

Durango1718 on

I took my “stress level” the moment I woke up and it said I had a high stress level of 72. Moments later, literally 3 minutes later, after coming out of the bathroom brushing my teeth and sitting on my bed, I took my “stress level” again. It now tells me my stress level is low at 43. How could it change so drastically within 3 minutes? Yesterday I took it literally a minute and a half apart. It went from 50 to 66. You’re not going to tell me this thing is accurate in accounting for stress. Heartbeat? Sure. But totally not stress.
