Apple maps app

Teri741 on

United States

I used this last weekend in a city and it was not helpful at all. The voice was gone. No instructions. Just had to drive and look at the phone to turn any place. I was driving by myself so that was hard to do. Will use google maps from now on.

Can't get out of it

Apple Map keeps popping up whenever I click on a link to direction. I only use Google Maps and there is no way to undefault Apple Maps!

It’s ok

It was ok I could find places but my address got leaked idk why and my grandad needed to find an atm but instead it led us to nothing

Highly inaccurate

YagYrlR on

United States

I installed the app two days ago. I placed an Uber Eats order, I trust Google maps so I blindly submitted without verifying.. The delivery person was 3 buildings away even after placing delivery notes to ensure they were in the correct location. I called Lyft, the app pin drop was accurate. The driver called me he was 6 blocks away. I had my small child with me it was later than usual for the child I figured the car share app would minimize being outside so late. Nope we had to stand outside waiting for the driver to locate us!! Thank You Apple Maps for your horrendous service I am going back to Google Maps where I belong and where it shows my location accurately.

Simple, but a lot of misplaced things…

TheRalBearGod on

United States

Lately I’ve seen a lot of misinformation and mistakes like misplaced shrubs, not enough trees, and houses and ledges that don’t exist! This made me infuriated that I couldn’t get the right amount of detail, but at least it’s easy to navigate, and it’s simple… Just next time remember that the shrub placement is important to people! Thank you for listening

Better than it was

brxsd on

United States

Apple Maps is improving but is still lacks severely behind Waze and slightly behind Google Maps. It looks much better than it did, but it’s still not as accurate or informative as it’s competition. Apple should allow direct access to open Waze or Google Maps when selecting an address if it’s selected as the primary navigation app. That’s it’s only advantage right now and i feel like Apple is doing this on purpose. If Waze is your primary navigation app and you select an address in messages or safari it should load Waze, not ask you to download Apple Maps.

Can’t turn off satellite view.

Bus Station Bob on

United States

The menu that supposed to be in the upper left-hand corner to allow you to turn off the satellite view isn’t there. Being stuck in satellite view has already cost me 15 bucks because of a excess data usage. In addition to this, excessive navigation animations delay turn notifications causing the turn to be missed. This app has really gone downhill and while I don’t like Google maps, right now, it’s better than Apple Maps.

sends me to random spots

brookemll on

United States

i’m on a campus and i use it to get to class and it literally sends me to random streets instead of the building my class is in

More options

Mrbanks199 on

United States

We need more options like the ones you got. For example we need to be able to report roads closed, the option to take a different route,m in backed up traffic, and maybe a few more options that I think about right now.

Old info

Hillbully2 on

United States

Why is the map images so old? It has nice features but so out of date. Wish it was better.
