The best Maps App

Daywho1 on

United States

Apple Maps is, without a doubt, one of the best navigation tools available today. It offers a range of incredible features that make getting from one place to another both simple and efficient. One of the standout features is its ability to display speed limits, helping drivers stay aware and safe on the road. Additionally, it provides real-time alerts for important details like the location of police officers or traffic jams, giving users the opportunity to adjust their driving accordingly. What makes it even more impressive is that Apple Maps doesn’t just notify you about traffic jams—it actively tries to reroute you to avoid them, ensuring you reach your destination as quickly as possible. By automatically offering the fastest route and allowing users to customize their journey by avoiding highways or tolls, Apple Maps helps save both time and money. It also excels in lane guidance, clearly showing which lane you should be in to avoid missing an exit or turn. This feature, combined with its visual cues on the screen, ensures you don’t even have to look at the map while driving, as the directions are seamlessly displayed for easy access. All of these features come together to make Apple Maps not just a good navigation app, but an exceptional one, surpassing other maps in terms of usability, accuracy, and user-friendly design. For all these reasons, Apple Maps truly stands out as a superior choice for navigation.

The map says that the school that hasn’t been under construction for TWO WHOLE YEARS it shows it’s under construction and it shows my family doesn’t live there but overall good 👍

Outdated Maps

The app is very helpful but lately the navigation is slightly off i.e., delayed commands. Also, the maps are outdated and my address and coordinates are out of sync. The map shows my address 3 houses past the actual location. Please update maps and location accuracy.

Tired of my arrival time being incorrect when I’m going the way directed. It seems this app has gone backwards. I used to beat my arrival time. It doesn’t take traffic into account or anything. I thought we had AI technology now?! Have fun picking the shortest route it recommends only to be 10 minutes lat

I have been using Apple Maps for a long time, but recently, the system has been improved, making driving more difficult than before. I do not recommend using it. It is better to use Google Maps, because it gives better route details. Using Apple Maps can be dangerous while driving. I do not recommend it at this time. I hope the system will be improved.

Awful

Molanda Zu on

The integration is nice, although it’s a bit difficult to unlock the phone when navigation is active. Aside from that, the maps in Japan are seriously outdated. I gave it a chance recently, but Google Maps is still better for navigation and public transportation. I tried using the reporting function to add my address and they just ignored the request. The roads that are shown were removed 5 years ago.
