Asana: Where work connects

I've been using this app for years and it used to be quite easy to drag and drop tasks, the last update has made it very difficult and they always drop into the wrong section. Also, when you drop a task into a section, it adds it to the top of the list instead of the bottom.

Use it everyday, very helpful for personal as well as for my micro business

Warning: This app employs questionable practices. You can sign up on mobile, but you cannot cancel your subscription via mobile. When I requested a refund from support, they failed to provide it.

They have a lot of work to do to make the app function easily. Others have found it stable, that’s not been my experience on the iPad Pro

I am so impressed by the power of this platform. Love the simplicity and intuitive design. Love the dopamine hit of a unicorn across your screen or a beautiful collage of colours when a task is completed. Makes work easy and fun

Title says it all. As long as you don’t need help with anything it’s great, the moment you do, well let’s just say it’s been almost 2 months with constant emails and I’m still waiting…

I use Asana extensively and prefer it over other project management tools… for the time being. The iOS app has been very slow to adopt available features for new releases on the platform like lock screen widgets and now interactive widgets for iOS 17. Why these weren’t supported from day one of these releases is beyond me as they are so suitable for an app of this type. There is also a sluggishness about supporting all platforms within the Apple ecosystem that other apps do so well. No Apple Watch app still and we only recently received a macOS app after years and years of pleading in their blog. It’s slow development like this that I fear will eventually lead myself and my team to a different platform.

I LOVE Asana. I have used this app for years. It’s my go to tool for organising my professional workload as well as my personal life. I wish I could adored the premium subscription. Asana is extremely user friendly. The functionalities are awesome. I wouldn’t ever consider any other project management tool. Even if my workplace uses a rival app, I stand my ground and defend my need to achieve my outcomes using ONLY Asana.

When i create a task on a board it always moves it to the first list on the board rather than the list I created the task for. I then have to manually move each task to the desired list after creating them. This just started happening and has made creating tasks i. The app very frustrating.

I love Asana but every time I load it on my iPad or iPhone I can’t do what I need do to - the UX and features are different. Asana pushes you to the iOS app by default even if you have a 12.9” iPad and want to go laptop free for a session or day. Hugely frustrating and flow-disruptive. Asana please finish aligning your tool functionality and UX - even if it’s just the list view on Asana to show basic things like status and getting a column width that’s usable. It’s doing my head in.
