Too much time on visuals, just make it work
Efforts and Aim is clear but could not meet the requirement
Nowadays, I don’t think many people like to purchase this kind of cards. I live in China, all over the nation we use QR codes, this card system is just absolutely outdated. Besides this, when we tap on go, several times makes mistakes, sometimes crashes too. I hope AT HOP engineers update their technology as quick as possible. West nations means, people like us expect advanced system compared to Asian nations, completely disappointing. We need to go around the globe to purchase AT HOP card first then register, then top up, if you lost for any reason, then another disappointment! Come on Engineers and technicians, grow big, make big.

Don't forget to download this application when you arrive in New Zealand. This app very useful for you to find bus timetable and route. The information on the application is very clear, making it very easy to plan your trip using public transportation.

Very difficult to use
Does recall journey you are on.
While on a journey if you do something on your phone, the app won’t go back to the journey you are on. It is a disaster. If you are at a stop waiting, it often doesn’t recognise you are at the stop and suggests you walk. The compass function on the map Isn’t working and well as the location. The highlight is that is shows you where the bus is located in real time. It is 9:35 am and I missed 4 busses this morning across 2 stops. It makes for a stressful day.
Not caching / Closing out of routes
Lately my AT app has been forgetting the journey I’m on if I leave the app for even a minute. It needs to be able to store my route even if the app isn’t open and active so I can return to it when needed. It did used to do this so hoping this is a bug to be patched.
