Is AT Mobile free?
Yes, AT Mobile is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is AT Mobile legit?
⚠️ The AT Mobile app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
This app should be easy to use - instead every time it’s updated it becomes super glitchy and you lose functions like real time updates, estimated arrival times, gps capability to sync stops, journey planner, just to name a few. The latest update has the distinction of being the worst one yet, as now the app takes about 87 minutes to load up a stop, and that’s if the app even bothers to work at all. It’s like Auckland Transport doesn’t care that people have appointments to make, or deadlines to meet or places to get to in a timely manner. It almost beggars belief that the people behind this app actually want people to use it and by extension use public transport. As someone who uses public transport multiple times a day, every day, the app is maddening in its frustrations and completely impractical. AT needs to do better, and if I could give the app a zero star review, I would.
Unresponsive App
The app seems to keep having issues which means you cannot touch a stop to see which services are departing. There is also an issue with the location service not working either - it won’t respond and doesn’t take you to local stops.
JOURNEY PLANNER
WHY IS THE JOURNEY PLANNER BROKEN!??? Please fix it!!
Need to add and fix below points
1. Why does this app require always-on location permission when other mapping apps like Google Maps and Apple Maps can function with location access granted only while using the app?
2. Why doesn't this app have columns containing bus numbers and bus stops? By tapping on a bus number, users should be able to view the respective bus routes and all buses' current locations on a map. Additionally, each bus stop should display the buses available at that stop.
3. Currently, the app only displays the current balance. However, when selecting recent transactions, it redirects to a browser, requiring users to log in again to view their transactions. It would be more convenient if the app itself displayed recent transactions, including the date, time, bus number, stops, and amount, eliminating the need for redirection and re-login.
Unusable
Map won’t stop sliding across the screen so you can’t select a bus stop. Unusable for most basic use case.
Journey planner
For some reason the journey planner does not work and I can only view live departures, So I really hope this can be fixed

App times and dates on the journey planner no longer work. Have reinstalled with no luck. Can’t plan journeys anymore. Very frustrating.
Journey planner is unusable
As the title says you cannot plan any kind of trip as the date and time selection is totally blank making it impossible to be able to plan any kind of trip, which is the whole point of having the app in the first place
journey planner times no longer working
when you try to use the journey planner feature and select a time (leave now, depart at or arrive by) the dates and times will not load or work, which is extremely inconvenient as this is a crucial feature and a huge inconvenience. please fix this
