Is AT Mobile free?
Yes, AT Mobile is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is AT Mobile legit?
⚠️ The AT Mobile app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Been trying to use this app to register and top up for my travels in Auckland and have no luck. The address does not populate for people living outside the country and it does not connect my account to the apply. It keeps saying it needs more information. I have inputted my information multiple times.
Cannot login as a tourist
Cannot login as a tourist. i’ve tried resetting my password but It doesn’t really matter you can’t login to register your card. I tried this for two days. I’m a tech person, so imagine what it would be like for a non-techie.
Terrible Introduction to Transit in NZ
Had to sit through 15 mins of loading on international cell service to register the card. It should not be difficult to navigate around your city. Why do I need to enter a NZ address if I don’t live in your country?

We have to use the app there’s no alternative so therefore we can only assume it must be that it could be better
Essential app
This works pretty well! A must have for getting around Auckland.
Inaccurate and unreliable.
Can you PLEASE fix this app so it accurately reflects bus timetables. Bus 75 does not run every 15 minutes, it’s every 30 (but never on time). App always shows as running every 15 from Glenn Innes. Extremely frustrating when depending on it to get to and from work.
Needs A LOT of improvements
This app should be easy to use - instead every time it’s updated it becomes super glitchy and you lose functions like real time updates, estimated arrival times, gps capability to sync stops, journey planner, just to name a few. The latest update has the distinction of being the worst one yet, as now the app takes about 87 minutes to load up a stop, and that’s if the app even bothers to work at all. It’s like Auckland Transport doesn’t care that people have appointments to make, or deadlines to meet or places to get to in a timely manner. It almost beggars belief that the people behind this app actually want people to use it and by extension use public transport. As someone who uses public transport multiple times a day, every day, the app is maddening in its frustrations and completely impractical. AT needs to do better, and if I could give the app a zero star review, I would.
Unresponsive App
The app seems to keep having issues which means you cannot touch a stop to see which services are departing. There is also an issue with the location service not working either - it won’t respond and doesn’t take you to local stops.
JOURNEY PLANNER
WHY IS THE JOURNEY PLANNER BROKEN!??? Please fix it!!
Need to add and fix below points
1. Why does this app require always-on location permission when other mapping apps like Google Maps and Apple Maps can function with location access granted only while using the app?
2. Why doesn't this app have columns containing bus numbers and bus stops? By tapping on a bus number, users should be able to view the respective bus routes and all buses' current locations on a map. Additionally, each bus stop should display the buses available at that stop.
3. Currently, the app only displays the current balance. However, when selecting recent transactions, it redirects to a browser, requiring users to log in again to view their transactions. It would be more convenient if the app itself displayed recent transactions, including the date, time, bus number, stops, and amount, eliminating the need for redirection and re-login.
