Trash. This app will not work. Great for the few weeks it appeared but since then impossible to get it to recognize the receiver. Consider other options.

This AV Controller app will turn your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad into a Wi-Fi enabled remote control for your Yamaha network products(*). Doesn’t connect !
Just bought a new Yamaha receiver today and download the Yamaha AV controller app and nothing works no connection reset the Wi-Fi reset everything still no connection to IPhone (sucks to spend all that money and it doesn’t work ) receiver !
Widget please for Lock Screen quick use.
I love the av co troller so much, it takes one of the four spots on my Home Screen for the iPhone. Why can’t I add a widget of this app. Is there a way you can make it so Apple ios16 can add av controller to Lock Screen.
Fonctionne bien
Cette app peut être difficile à installer mais une fois qu’elle a reconnu le récepteur tout fonctionne à merveille. Et la WEB Radio aussi. Il faut au préalable mettre son ampli/ récepteur à niveau. Ensuite, dans l’app entrez l’adresse IP de l’ampli. Une fois fait ça devrait fonctionner sans problème.
Why is this app in the app store?
It does not work at all as advertised. All it does is link to the MusicCast app. None of the neat configuration features shown in the demo are actually available.
Great application
Set up was a breeze. Has great features not available on my receiver remote, and makes it much easier to change receiver settings.
Doesn’t work anymore
Useless, frustrating
AirPlay does not work whatsoever
I can’t make AirPlay work with RX-V485 at all, it sees my Apple Music tracks sometimes, but never have I been able to make them play
Useless. Detects Anti-Virus then pushes another app.
Just purchased my new RX-A2A yesterday. Was looking forward to being able to get into settings & features etc on my iPhone so I don’t have to have the TV on all the time. But this app seems to be just to push Yamaha’s over priced Music Cast line of products. App detects my Anti-Virus but when I click on it the only thing it will do is either push me to the app store to download the Music Cast app or open the Music Cast app if already installed! I am not interested in your Music Cast products or app at this time. Please fix the app so we can use like it’s supposed to work!
Garbage
Does not work anymore. Amp/app will no longer connect to internet.
