AVM Venezia Official App

If you need travel from / to, it is great app. It shows you time schedule, from which platform it goes, wery easy to plan. Realy great app, it saves you a lot time and stress.

Do not waste your time with this sh... app. Ridiculous, not working at all. Busses are not stopping on the bus station and just pass you by. Never again.

The app is really horrible. Searching isn't intuitive at all, you can't select destination in the map and typing in the stops name is so difficult. Even when you know exact name, it doesn't work. When you accidentally succeed, then it finds good connection, but the user interface is terrible.

Wanted to use it for buying tickets during my stay in Venezia, topped up 20€ as a credit but when I needed to use the app for the purchase of the tickets, it froze and didn’t work. I wrote that in the form to customer services asking to get a refund, but the only thing that happened is that the 20€ credit disappeared from my app account, but I haven’t received it back to my bank account. There is also no reply to my message to customer service. It’s been over one week now. Very disappointed. I recommend buying paper tickets on the spot, rather than losing your nerves and money with this app.

Going with kids as black passangers, unable to purchase anything...

In a tourist city like Venice, they are not able (aren't interested) to make an adequate app for city visitors with some basic info. Timetables for buses are just not shown, as well as the price. You have to registrate separately every member of your trip, even though you're one family. The only reliable way to find out the prices and the schedule is to ask the unfriendly lady in one of the “biglietteria”. Unbelievable

No apple pay and needing of registration even if you use your own phone…

Complicated user interface, resolution of images like 20 years ago and the most important, as a visitor you are not able to buy a ticket from the app directly. The option is here, but results in error (with no EN translation, as expected). App itself feels like it was programmed by pizza delivery guy. And in a combination with Italian unpredictible public transport you better rent a car or walk.

Ridiculously slow to search for anything, and the search itself also only works sometimes... Judging from the ticket prices, the Venice transport authority must be swimming in money - so I find it even more mind boggling that they would release such a bad app.

You can see some info in the app such as timetables but purchasing and holding the ticket does not work.
