This app is useless. No DTS support and very few file transfer protocols are supported. I'm using Infuse now which is great and supports all formats, protocols and DTS. Also Infuse is smart enough to stay awake while downloading stuff and then goes to sleep after it's finished when this useless AVPlayerHD goes to sleep in the middle and stops downloading. Ridiculous!
This is a great app I use it every night to watch things on my iPad it's definitely the app I use the most. I also use it on my pc highly recommend.A++++.
When I'm trying to download anything from my nas drive, it stops everytime at around 170%. Download isn't finished. File is much bigger than original one but unreadable.
Paid for the app a few years ago, it worked perfectly fine until they removed support for DTS audio codec, now this latest version has dropped compatibility with iPad 3rd Generation. Switching to infuse, don't waste your money on this..
This used to be a great app. I like a lot of people didn't have a problem paying for this app. So the developers of this app had no problems taking our money but when it came to paying the licensing fee for the DTS audio codec one that is in a lot of video files they stuck two fingers up at everyone that paid for this app and refused to pay for the codec. This is highly annoying as I have to be careful buying any films that use the DTS audio codec. I've just got burnt yet again. I have a film I paid for but I can't hear anything because this greedy app creator refuses to use the money we paid him to make this app better. Save your money and buy an app that actually pays to have all codecs on their app and allow you to hear the films being played. Just make sure it says it supports DTS which a few of them do I guess because they are not greedy fxxxrs like the makers of this app.
Now it has repeated problems with sound playback stopping. Two separate versions since iOS 8 release. This version stops playing sound after 12 mins for me. Have to close file and reopen to resume. No response from support despite several mails. Poor customer service!
Having tried a few video players on thus iPad, this is by far the best one I've come across. Plays all file types and very easy to use.
Brilliant app. So far haven't experienced any bugs on the iPad mini. Runs every video file I throw at it in perfect quality. The nice GUI is also a plus.
I have having problem with flex player for few months with AC3 files. This app make everything easy. Thanks a lot
