- If you cannot choose audio in mp4 or avi, change the extension to mkv temporarily and chosen audio channel will be applied.
3. The optimal speed when advancing its playing speed can differ depending on the way it’s compressed and the size.
Video clips of XVID (AVI) 720 x 480 can be fast played up to 1.3-1.5 times faster than normal.

Abandonware
Was very good, didn’t receive updates for years now and thus turned into abandonware. Why are those kind of unmainted apps not removed from the app store, instead of being used as money generators for companies that don’t do anything for an aged software product?
Stuck in 2010
For a long time AVPlayer used to be the gold standard for playing movies on iOS devices, taking advantage of being one of the first app of its kind in the AppStore.
Unfortunately this app has not been updated more than a year and is now seriously behind its competition offering modern features such as auto subtitle & metadata download, full cloud support & shortcuts, modern browser and poster view (like Netflix).
Recommendation: Try instead other modern alternatives such as Infuse, Nplayer
great
plays a lot of different movies. easy to import them. too bad, it does not support dts sound. use it already for about 5 year.
Why no Chromecast support
Really great app and easy to use. Only downside is that it does not support Chromecast and after latest update the Dropbox connection is not working anymore
Really best streaming app
Bbest app for streaming vids
Top
Al jaren perfecte app voor video! Enige minpuntje is dat recentelijk x265 wat lijkt te haperen.
great app
I use it all the time, really love the buildin ftp client!
DLNA disaster
Based on reviews thought this might be an ideal player to view videos over DLNA. Alas only the last file in the listing is played. When other videos are attempted to be played only the bottom file in the list is played. So effectively useless for me. Sought support from eplayworks for this DLNA issue but no response.
Would this be possible?
AVPlayer HD is the AV player to go for. It plays every format I throw at it, not yet had an AV file AVPlayer HD couldn't play.
One thing I am missing though is the ability to transfer multiple files/folders at once via web-transfer. If this functionality could be added AVPlayer hD would be perfect, and worth 5 stars.
Great
This is the nr 1 app that you need for your ios device if you watch a lot of movies and series. Easy to place the files on the ipad without syncing, best buy so far.
Still I like the old layout better, but that is just to improve it even further. A better equalizer would be sweet, already like the volume boost possibility!
