Bad North is a charming but brutal real-time tactics roguelite. Defend your idyllic island kingdom against a horde of Viking invaders, as you lead the desperate exodus of your people. Command your loyal subjects to take full tactical advantage of the unique shape of each island. Everything is at stake: fail, and watch the blood of your subjects stain the ground red.
It’s charmingly brutal, with beautiful procedurally-generated islands and adorable soldiers juxtaposed against the blood-stained realities of war. You control the broad strokes of the battle, giving high level commands to your soldiers who try their best to carry them out in the heat of the moment. It’s accessibly deep, with simple player inputs masking a dynamic combat simulation that make it inviting to new players while challenging veterans.

Problem with saved games

When I try to load a saved game in which I have made a lot of progress, the game closes. Newer games don’t seem to have this issue. I have to make a new campaign every time I want to play again. Please fix this.

Good

Hey I really love the game and like to play it but can you pls do some more units or something? Like firebows or hammerguys who deal more damage and can take more damage but can attack much slower. Also i have been experiencing a bug i think where when i tap on my screen it selects another square than the square i touched (and its like waaaayyy of not even close to where i tapped) and sometimes my camera just does weird things its almost as if a ghost is touching my screen, I havent been experiencing it in othergames or while typing or something so I think its a bug. Anyways love your game and i would love to see a big content update to come out

Not great

There are almost no customization options, and the game gets way too difficult at a certain point. It sucks to lose all your characters if an island is too hard. Also, the game doesn’t explain the mechanics. It took me 3 hours to figure out you can ‘rest’ in a house to get your soldiers back. And I didn’t know what those markers on the map meant. Not worth its price.

I would be happier if the game gets updated After going through all difficulties I feel bored of the game You can add many new units and trails if you can’t get any ideas pleas ask me For island design you can add more things I like the game you did a great job Levels were not easy Units are well balanced Please make an expansion or a new game You can manage it

Good game

The game crashed 2-3 times at level loading but other then that, flawless. Really loved the gameplay. As game designer, i must say well played guys. Well balanced, fun, sense of progression to keep me playing... I finished the campaign in one row. Combat dynamics are awesome, everything is very well polished from gameplay mechanics to graphics, best 5€ i spent on a game in ages.

Simple but fun

Maybe a little to small. Downloading a saved game sometimes takes to long and sometimes it doesn’t work at all, stuck! It happens you have to wait longer than playing the level itself. So work on it guys !, there is a BAD BUG in BAD NORTH. The solutions they propose don’t work neither. So 1 on 5 because I can not play more than 20% of the levels, after that : CRASH

Amazing ! But need more diversity of levels !

Amazing game !I’d really like to see a bad north 2 with more factions more enemies and more singular level ! « More singular levels »: Some level really amazing not only with the aesthetics of the level design but also with new approaches of defense/attack (for example, a level where enemies are forced in lines but are all coming in massive waves, levels with two distinct island and one bridge linking them, a in high heights where the battle would happend only up there... and why not some other singularities ? lol boat ? Islands ? (Maybe for Bad north 2 pirate edition idk) the procedural level generation is an amazing idea, but it need both procedural and maybe 30% of them being really memorable in their layout/aesthetic « More factions » We could have some other factions like horses, attacking boats, catapults, burning oil, ect.. same for the enemies. Also, the game can be cheated, we only have to leave the party while all our captain died and they will be still alive in the menu.. not really « hardcore » we can cheat the game to win t’ill the end that way. It would be a much more memorable experience if we can’t cheat. Too tempting.

Il manque pas mal de choses par rapport à la version pc Il n’y a pas de piquiers unité pourtant indispensable sinon c’est pas mal

Abordable, très bien réalisé, sans achats intégrés, sans abonnement, et non pixelisés. Juste parfait. Mérite cinq étoiles.
