It’s charmingly brutal, with beautiful procedurally-generated islands and adorable soldiers juxtaposed against the blood-stained realities of war. It’s accessibly deep, with simple player inputs masking a dynamic combat simulation that make it inviting to new players while challenging veterans.

Lovely little game !
From the color schemes , the simple UI or the calming audio playing while your men get mercilessly slaughtered by Viking hordes , it all fits together like Lego bricks to bring a peaceful yet challenging , easy to play yet hard to master , cute little village defence game .
Absolutely deserves the 5 outta 5 star rating ! You’ve done a great job devs , PS. Had to restart coz I didn’t understand the fatigue system and lost a lot of level but was pleasantly surprised by the procedurally generated campaign , loved that!!!

Bad North is a minimalist but great looking, addictive strategy game and I haven’t seen any of it’s kind coming out on mobile. You can be in and out of the game in 2-5 minutes and it will still manage to be enormously fun!
Great game, but keeps crashing
Love the art style, the controls and the battle scenes are grippy and tense. However it keeps crashing mid way through the campaign on iPad 5th gen (iOS 13.2). Devs please take a look at your crash logs and release a fix ASAP. Really want to finish this lovely game
North’s gone Bad... maybe even Brutal
A mix of strategy and tower defence with cute and polished graphics and animations. But don’t let that cuteness fool you. It can get violent, bloody and downright nervy. The audio helps to calm things down a bit with cutesy sound cues. It’s a challenging game but it can get really brutal especially with those ranged giants. Boy, they are devastating. An enemy codex which explains the different types of enemies would have been very helpful. That’s my only gripe with the game. Touch controls are top notch and works perfectly on mobile. Overall, a good game for people who like a bit of challenge and tension. It has that addictive nature of “one more island”.
