Subscriptions are available on monthly or annual terms & will unlock all premium content on the BBC Science Focus Magazine Apple News channel.

• You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, for the same duration and at the current subscription rate for that product

good work better with ipad + every time have to sign in again + offline mode??? Really why I cannot read offline ?

Most frustrating app

Trying to get this app to work should be the 10th level of Hell. The most frustrating user experience I have come across. Cancelling subscription after years of futile hope that they'd get their act together and resolve basic functionality issues...such as the app opening.

Buggy

It’s ironic that a science and technology magazine app regularly crashes or won’t launch . Deleting and redownloading the app doesn’t work too well and seemingly neither does reporting it 🤷‍♂️ the magazine Bieber is always a fantastic read in fairness .

Magazine amazing - Constant app advertising a pain

For years I’ve been bought the hard copy of BBC Focus, I’ve even searched high and low for a copy while on holidays. So I recently decided to give the app a try, and I have to say the app is brilliant. And the interactive material makes it even more worth while, so much so that I purchased the special additions too. What I have come to dislike is the constant bombardments asking me to purchase back issues, I wouldn’t mind if it was just via email, but it’s on both email and the app itself, and on a daily basis. Please please please BBC focus, stop this torrential advertising. You don’t need it, your fan base here in this home already loves your magazine and will continue to read every issue as it’s released. Thanks from an avid reader that wants to give 5 stars.

Unable to activate an external subscription!

Received a Focus magazine subscription as a present! Support, what support! Same message appears when logging in. "Server Problem" Stock response when I contacted them. Are you connect to the internet, uninstall the app...... eventually received the following..."I am able to confirm that we have received your enquiry and are currently looking into this further. As soon as we have an update we will get back to you. " Don't bother downloading if you haven't subscribed through iTunes.

Great magazine and great app!

I took out the 6 month plan and this magazine works out very good this way. The app is great and easy to use, I use it on my iPhone 6 so it's just right size and I expect it's much better on an iPad of course. 5 stars for content and ease of use! Super app!!
