Worst banking app ever
I know some system just changed but this app is terrible. I have to change my password every time I log in, which is frequent so at this point it’s a safety issue because if I have to change my password 2 times a week I won’t be able to catch if there is fraudulent changes being made to my acct. I didn’t have a choice in banking with BMO, my bank was bought by them. Considering changing banks specifically because of the app.

The layout and usability is too complicated, transactions take days to show up, idk who designed the app but they did a horrible job
BMO app
Very friendly app to use and easy to navigate.
Enjoy app
Too slow to log in. Much faster before Bank of the West became BMO.
Limited app features
I have a loan. There is no feature to allow you to make an additional principal payment. You must go to a branch and request they make the change.
App shows last six months of transactions with the current month. So my transactions for January through May show June as the transactions date.
Don’t open an account here!
This is by far the worse bank you can have, please don’t do it!! Every time I tried to used my card was blocked for fraud alerts even if I was buying at the gas station, now my account is under review and can’t access my money for up to 30 days, after I have submitted all possible ids and utility bills, don’t open an acount here!!!!! Now I have no money to use!! And I called multiple times and they hang up and refuse to help me.

No 2-Factor?
Please add a 2-Factor Authentication option! Really not sure how there isn’t one for this app in this day and age. Otherwise UX has been good for me.
Scam
Complete scam, opened a new account with a bonus offer of $250 and after 3 weeks of meeting the requirements they closed my account and also didn’t pay the offer. Terrible bank.
Mobile check deposit not working
Haven’t had any other issues with the app, it functions well and I can find the things I need to do on it with ease, but for the past month and a half mobile check deposit is not working. It states that the amount you are trying to deposit isn’t the same as on the check. I have tried the android app as well as checked with others that also have bmo and they have the same issue.
