Good UI, Unreliable Features
My flashcards, textual annotations, and highlights keep disappearing… rendering my efforts to study with this app quite useless.
Ease of use.
This product on an iPad is easy to navigate thru chapters and pages are numbered.
Good and fast, with some UI Knicks
Love the app, it’s been pretty useful to access the books I use to teach. However, the option to use or even switch books is not ideal for multiple books, as it is cumbersome opening the hamburger menu, going back and choosing another book. I enjoy the way it works on Mac where there are just tabs for each book.
Accessible
I like its functionality. It is accessible anywhere and searching for topics in a book, underlining significant topics, and taking notes were possible.
Garbage app
Such a garbage app, user interface isn’t helpful, pages are literally broken apart in read back, the voices for reading are some of the worst ai voices out there, the whole experience is garbage. So sad I’m forced to use it for school.
Love this app very much!
This app helps me with all my online textbooks. It’s absolutely amazing and provides me with a lot of ways to annotate, reads for you if you want, and holds many different texts books on an online platform so u don’t have to carry around heavy big books. Some books are expensive but there are renting options which can turn $200 into $30/$50!! I’ve used this for all semesters in college and it’s great for books even outside of college to learn about something you like! Definitely a 5 star for meee⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Search function & other issues
The search function in this app does not work. Whenever I try to search for a term or person in a book I am not taken to the correct page and section. This makes it very hard to find information quickly. Also, the app seems to jump around the book I am reading and does not always stay on the same page. Basically, this app does not function well consistently. The level of functionality changes based on the textbook I am using. This makes it hard to do reading for school.
Glitches or malfunctions
On occasion my chapter I am reviewing is gone.
