Good but need some issues fixing
Very practical in terms of not having to carry around huge books, however some of the functionalities of the app disappear after it’s been open a while and you have to restart in order to resume functionality ( for example markup beta, the index/table of contents etc). Also sometimes the notes and highlighting do not transfer across your devices
Good app
This app allows you to have access to textbooks online, for that purpose the app is great. I have issues with the markup beta function. The markup beta function does not work in landscape mode and sometimes disappears as a function in portrait mode. I have to close the app and reopen to use the markup beta function. I can’t scroll and use the markup beta function.
Good and could be better
Could be better if handwritten function is enabled
Love it
It’s my first e book. I bought exam kit and it was available via this app. I love the fact that it has options to make notes and add a bookmark and highlight things. I can use it almost as if i had a paper version. Thank you
Absolute garbage app for DRM infested ripoff books
Have to jump through hoops just to try to access a book I bought and be locked in this terrible app.
It’s scandalous
Unable update library, only have one book in app.

Creating a flash card is on a laptop vs tablet
Difficult to create a flash card on tablet, unlike when using it on a laptop, you can’t copy and paste details
Robotic voice is not good
The robotic voices of choice are not good. There are many great options now that sound more humanistic such as the bing read aloud voice. I am hoping this is updated as I am using this app for a long time throughout my uni studies as provided through them. Also to zoom there is one tab and that’s it, it would be better to be able to zoom in further like the zoom scale on word processor as sometimes when I am note-taking the laptop is further away and I have to squint to see it even with glasses on.
Low quality e-reader
This is a low quality and quite unnecessary app which lacks the functionality of either Kindle or iPhone books app, including basic functions, such as the ability to enlarge text. It is beyond me why some academic publishers insist on using it and don’t make affordable E versions of the books, available on Kindle.
AVOID!!
Try searching any book keeps saying nothing here try a different search or check your spelling!! What’s the point in this app if it doesn’t recognise any books!! Deleting straight away!! Useless!!
