Having some issues with the kiosk and app connecting or staying connected, with the outcome being missing parts of the activity

With the eBike Connect app, you can customise your eBike experience: connected, individual and interactive. Connect your Nyon or Kiox via Bluetooth with your smartphone and flexibly plan your routes, use the navigation via your display, track your activities or protect your eBike from theft with the premium function eBike Lock. The eBike Connect app offers you many helpful functions for your eBike with the Bosch eBike system 2.
Please note: This app can only be used for eBikes with Bosch drive units and Nyon or Kiox on-board computers with Bosch eBike system 2.
Route planning and navigation
Use the flexible route planning and navigation of eBike Connect. You can conveniently plan your rides and customise, import or share routes. If you synchronise with Komoot and Outdooractive, you can discover even more exciting routes. In addition, eBike Connect app suggests your routes that fit your preferences and mood (fast, scenic or eMountainbike). If you start your planned route in the app, it will be transmitted to your display or on-board computer.
Activities and fitness
From distance and duration to calories burned: view and evaluate all details of your eBike rides. Connect the eBike Connect app with Apple Health, Komoot or Strava and your activities are automatically synchronised. As an Apple Watch user, you can train even more effectively by tracking your heart rate while riding.

Connection
The app does not hold connection via Bluetooth with the Nyon unit on the bike. It is hopeless.
Very functional but missing one big feature
I've been using this for the post month and the customisabilty is fantastic. The map navigation via the Nyon is great with clever route selection. My main disappointment is the limited apps/devices that it can sync with. I have a Garmin Varia FTL515 radar tail light which could link via Bluetooth, but doesn't. This would be a game changing addition.
Terrific update
The Apple Watch heart rate and map planning were my most wanted features. Thank you!
iPad version please
Enjoying the app on my phone, however would love to see an iPad specific version to take full advantage of the maps for route planning, etc, holding an iPad especially one equiped with a keyboard in portrait orientation is a tad awkward and makes the app much less useful.
Link to Apple Health
I am enjoying using this app and especially the link to Strava. The link to apple health sends most data other than Heart Rate data. Could this feature please be added so the Health app is receiving accurate information.
$15 fee to lock your ebike 😡🤨😡
I bought an e-bike for the wife and I which one of them is the new Bosch smart system and the other is not but both have kiox. Not only do you need to use different apps but for the non smart system you need to pay $15 to lock your bike motor, but with the smart system it’s free. I’m beyond disappointed at the money grabbing greediness Bosch are showing. In my opinion it’s a feature that should be free across the board.
Absolute rubbish app
How Bosch came up with this app and thought it was okay is beyond me given some of the other great products they have. I use this with my Nyon and find it a complete waste of time and money.
Great app … but
Love the app and what it can do with my kiox unit but I would like if there’s an update for to have control for music/ radio via the controllers eg :supported app like radio app??? Please
Where did the maps go?
App is not great but does track rides which is what I use it for. But recently the maps have gone such that he minimum zoom detail is 5km. That’s useless unless you are circumnavigating the county. Please fix the mapping so we can see details down to 500m. Also please add aerial imagery.
