Description

CalenGoo gives you a fast and easy way to access and modify your Google Calendar with your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. It can also be used when you have no Internet connection, using the cached data. Changes are saved and uploaded the next time you are connected.
The calendar view is similar to the web view of Google Calendar. Events are displayed using the same calendar colors that you use in your Google Calendar, even Google's event colors are supported (please see http://www.calengoo.com/cc ). It also recognizes which calendars are visible and which are hidden. So the view should match the view of your Google Calendar as much as possible.
CalenGoo also has a month view similar to that of Google Calendar. It can be zoomed and panned to quickly get an overview over the events of a month. Zooming the month is done by using the two-finger-zoom gesture that you know from Safari and the photo application. A double tap opens the tapped day.
It also supports the same kinds of recurrence rules as Google Calendar and displays recurring events correctly even when you are offline or scroll far into the future.
You can also use Google Calendar's feature to invite people to events and see their status (accepted, declined, maybe, no answer). They will get an invitation email with links to e.g. accept or decline the invitation.
Google Calendar has an integrated task list, called Google Tasks. Tasks with a due date are displayed on the corresponding days of the calendar. CalenGoo can do the same, it can sync this list, display your tasks in the calendar views and in a list view and it even makes your tasks available offline. You can edit and add tasks and the changes will be synced with Google Tasks.
You either need a (free) Google Calendar account to use this app or you can use it with your iOS calendars. However using it with Google Calendar has a few advantages.

If you have any problems or suggestions, please send an email to [email protected] or take a look at CalenGoo's support website to get help.
If you think the font is too small and hard to read, you can increase the font size of all calendar views in the settings under "Settings", "Display and Use".

CalenGoo Calendar Reviews

I’m a calengoo lifer!!

Calengoo Fan on

I’ve been using this app since 2012 and would have a panic attack if it was ever discontinued. Calengoo is my lifeline. Thank you devs for creating such an amazing tool.

One of the best iOS calendars available

Sad&mad on

United States

I love all the options and the ability to link locations and contacts to events. I like all the views and find myself using”Floating Events” as task you can check off items on a shopping list. There is a bit of a learning curve just because there are so many options and customization. Also I use Google and Apple calendars and it works great. The syncing works perfectly and the developer continues to support and develop the app. along with being very responsive.

Perfect; my favorite app

I bought this app almost 14 (!) years ago for my first iPhone, and it’s some of the best money I’ve ever spent. I love it! I love how the calendar looks, I love the customization options, I love how well it syncs with Goog, I love the search function (top notch!), I love how non-buggy and non-fussy it is. To the developer, please know you made absolute winner!!

Magician App

Turbo444 on

United States

Been using CalenGoo at least 10 years. NOT ONE PROBLEM. CalenGoo is actually a magician app…. it will do everything you want it to do, seamlessly and magically. Or if you prefer, it does nothing except show the date. You want simple? You got it. You want to create the most complex configuration of dozens of calendars, full of bells and whistles, that you can imagine? Yep, go ahead. CalenGoo can handle it. THE BEST.

Great app but….

I’ve used this app for 15+ years! I’ve never had an issue!! But this week all my events are 1 hour later! I’ve checked times zones etc!! I’m going crazy trying to fix it! Any ideas?

For the Google Calendar Power User!!! 📆

GTD Meister on

15-year user and haven’t looked back. Default settings work fine but just about EVERYTHING in this app is configurable. EVERYTHING. I work faster in this app than in the Google Calendar app or desktop. App keeps improving, both in features and performance (used to be slow to load, not any more!)

Glitchy

WIBMD on

United States

So much so that I cannot use it. Some years ago it stopped syncing with my Google calendar, perpetually stalled at synchronizing birthdays. I tried downloading it after a long rest, but it still stops at synchronizing birthdays. I don’t know how to fix this, but I liked it well enough before it stalled.

Great app and amazing customer support

I’ve been using this app for at least a decade. Love the full month view on phone, picking your colors for multiple calendars, numerous views, ability to sync w/ iso calendar, and so much more. I recently had an issue and email developer. Developer’s helpful response was amazing fast.

This has nagging/repeating alarms

Dale As on

United States

I really wanted a calendar that would make appointment alarms repeat until I acknowledged them, to keep me from missing meetings. There are like two calendar apps that have this feature. This is the better of the two! Hey authors, you should put the keywords repeating/nagging/persistent appointment reminders in your description! This app seems really great. If you can’t look past an unconventional look and feel, and maybe a couple rough edges in the UI, then you should look elsewhere. But if that’s not a problem, what you’ll get here is the most powerful, featureful calendar app available. And it’s been around for many years, apparently, so you can have some confidence that it won’t disappear overnight. Really happy with this product!

One of the best iOS calendars available, hard to find on App Store

Sad&mad on

United States

It is so disappointing that when search “calendar “ in the App Store CalenGoo never comes up, even if you search Google Calendar. I love all the options and the ability to link locations and contacts to events. I like all the views and find myself using”Floating Events” with task you can check off like a shopping list. There is a bit of a learning curve just because there are so many options and customization. Also I use Google and Apple calendars and it works great. I hope the developer continues to support and develop the app.
