Very intuitive

I live the app. But my one issue with it is that it doesn’t seem to have any widget support I would love to be able to turn my light on straight from my Lock Screen

Update has made my lights unusable

Ever since they have updated the app its 10x more complicated, I cant connect my lights anymore and even when I manage to they end up disconnecting a day later. Its horrible as I used to love the lights but it’s no longer usable and i’m now having to look into replacements.

My smart lightbulb

My smart light bulb is in my front entrance to my house some people call it the porch or the entrance. It’s good as it’s on a timer and it’s always been handy for the odd nights when I’m home late and the house looks empty so I’m happy for that because I’m always going to be Able to know it’s going to be on when I’m home. I can change the mood and ambience accordingly. I’m new to this smart device thing so still learning… Eventually I’ll like to have more lights around the house and also have some devices that are linked to alexia and so on.. there’s lots of options for this technology now and it’s really affordable

Absolutely AWFUL do NOT buy!

I just recently got a new room and decided to buy these LED’s. To be fair they weren’t that difficult to put up but the second I turned them on they started flashing and I couldn’t turn them off. I downloaded the app and managed to get them to stop but it took a while to figure it out. Every time I went into the app I had to sign back into the room and it was just a faff. After about an hour of them being put up half of it FELL OFF and took off a good chunk of paint with it too. I put them back up and then at 2AM they all came down and won’t stick. Honestly a waste of money.

Widget Request

Hi there. Personally I Love the light. And I Love the app too. However I would like to request to have a widget on Home Screen that I can add to my device. Kindly Please try and make it happen

An adequate app made worse!

Now it takes even longer to simply turn a light on. That’s so much better eh!

Doesn’t work as promised

Bought it coz on the box it said it had RGB yet it doesn’t change colours all u can do is dim the loch it was a rip off

Bought this lamp thinking it would be good, but I can’t even link my lamp. This is a rip off.

Phone integration ok, Apple Watch not

The bulbs are good value for the tech. Set up is a bit fiddly, and a real pain if you have multiple bulbs on the same switch. The phone app has improved, but Apple Watch integration is poor, and not worth the hassle - which is unfortunate as it would bea great function if you could rely on it. The app keeps losing connection with the watch and requires multiple watch app uninstalls / reinstalls to get working again.

Just fantastic

My previous smart plugs and bulbs where starting to get very temperamental and would sometimes let me down on a daily basis but with Calex on offer at a near by store I took a chance by buying one plug and one bulb. That was four weeks ago and my home is now fully fitted with Calex lights and bulbs. They are 100% better than previous smart devices and pair almost immediately, no turning your own light on and off 20 times to pair it as Calex bulb and plug tries to find you once plugged and to add a bit extra to having Calex my first electric bill came down with them so all I can say is a big THANK YOU keep up the good work and don’t go the way of previous smart companies did but continually up grade your firmware and the options on devices. I have also suggested it to my employers to refit there entire building and four floors. So thank you again for a wongmmer
