Do not, I repeat, DO NOT purchase this absolute-trash, overpriced piece-of-garbage app on ANY of your devices. Its slow, unintuitive and VERY difficult to remove once installed. On top of the low-quality design and function of the app itself, I was immediately charged the full price which was supposed to be on a 7 day free trial. Save yourself some time and money and find something more reputable! Move along here…
I found Canopy to work well overall. The AI photo-filtering is quite handy. They offer a bunch of handy monitoring tools too. If you’re looking for a solid content blocker, I’d recommend giving Canopy a try and see how it goes for you! In its current state, the VPN/AI filtering made things too slow for me to upload files/connect to the internet at times. (Though, to be fair, where I live my internet connection isn’t the greatest.) I’m planning on revisiting this app in a few years when my kids begin accessing the Internet. Hoping they’ve worked out a few more bugs by then!

Lots of options for filters, effective for blocking what you want blocked.
The app regularly freezes and the vpn is really slow. Change those things and 5 stars.
1 day into my 7-day free trial, I was charged for a year subscription. But, worse than that, the parental app doesn’t work at all. I haven’t even been able to set anything up. I’ve been charged $130 for NOTHING.
This is a parent that tried our canopy, and found it wasn’t what we were looking for, as it uses a USA VPN, and that changed a lot of stuff for us in Canada. However, after uninstalling correctly and cancelling my account, a year later all of a sudden my kids’ phones were being ‘monitored’ by canopy again. And now I cannot take it off as I don’t have an account anymore, and the kids’ phones can’t even do a reset with out the parents account permission. Now these phones are not able to download apps that the ‘parent’ account would have had to give permission for…but I can’t give permission for as I don’t have an account. I was in contact with customer support, and at first they were great, emailing me back right away. Until I got transferred to the experts department and a few emails in, they went cold. No replies, I’ve sent quite a few emails, and no response. I’m left with 2 phones that I can’t download apps on, and I can’t do a hard reset on. This has been going on for awhile now and we all are getting sick of ‘canopy’-even when we don’t have it!!!!
