Cardo Connect

Had this unit (Packtalk Neo Duo) for one day and I’m really disappointed in how clunky it is to get sorted out. I just can’t get it to work continuously. It keeps dropping the connection to the phone and then immediately reconnecting while I’m sitting on my couch right next to the helmet. As for pairing the two helmets in the group - haha, that’s a joke to keep it connected all the time! I can’t be dicking around with this thing while I’m riding!!

Not happy with this

Great unit most of the time, but the radio keeps coming on for some reason, and cannot pair with a Lexin FT4 Pro

Had my Cardo packtalk for over a year, app is useless and connecting with other Cardo devices like Cardo spirit through it or sharing music is impossible despite Cardo claiming it can do this. Spent over 20 hours trying to connect the features they advertise and can only connect communication with no music. I’m a mechanic who knows electrical very well and tune Harleys with FP3, dynojets and screaming eagle tuners which SHOULD be was harder but this Cardo junk is not only harder, it’s seemingly impossible. App for nothing to help, connecting for coms had to be done through all the different buttons on the devices which look the same with 4 buttons on them, but Cardo even changes the buttons to press on the different devices they make (example bottom button on packtalk and top button on sprint will do same thing)

Original was awesome - had it for years - two of the slims died going across Canada after the first rain - very inconvenient - those were replaced - new ones always loose connection between the two of us as in the connection of riders group. Tried multiple ways. Just a flaw. The app is fine but again looses us consistently. Biggest grip in the earpeircing screaming that happens intermittently that leaves my ear ringing and is insane - the last ones did that when they got wet both of ours now mine and his does it with the replacements for no apparent reason. I would not buy again. I deem them junk.

Works okay, but pairing to phone and other riders usually requires several attempts

Very disappointed with this. Constantly resetting and connecting. Volume raises to very loud by itself. Had product 3 years. Not intuitive at all.

Very disappointed, units stop working after riding for 45 minutes at -15 Celsius which is within the specified operating range of -20 to +55 according to the devices spec sheet, I would not recommend these units for snowmobiling
