I have a Carly device less than a year old and paid for full access. The device interacts properly with my BMW but will not do anything with the Mitsubishi or Toyota which are newer cars. No help from the developer despite multiple requests. Would never pay again. And Tony even try to return it or get a refund. They won’t respond.
Does not work with my 2015 lancer or my 2020 pajero sport. Cannot find ECUs and wont connect for simple OBD2 function
We have a number of cars thanks to kids on p-plates. Carly works very on our BMW E90. It provides limited diagnosis and coding on our BMW G20, even less on our Range Rover Sport L320. We also have a 2002 Volvo C70 T5. And whilst it connects to the car, it can’t read anything of any use. 3/5. I am in indifferent but did expect more based on the advertising. Let me add this. As soon as you lean in with support, they come back to you with this message “ I would like to point out that insults, a disrespectful tone of voice or any sort of improper behaviour towards Carly’s employees or the company in general will lead to the support access suspension. Consequently, you won’t be able to receive Carly support anymore.” Avoid these idiots at all costs.
Is great, but there's no way To make To the Second ... It's only to the Minute. And There realy should be a explanation or De-Abbreviated Of acronyms.

The next get Ranger has been out since 2022 it’s now 2024 and still does not support it, very disappointed that does not support the number one selling Ute in Australia. Would like my money back.
Have used Carly for 18 months and would have rated 3.5 stars. Worked well and did what I needed it to. Smart mechanic is little more than google searches that often point towards things that have nothing at all to do with the problem code. Recently my app started freezing when going into diagnostics and Carly support has been responsive but totally useless. I’m now being asked to give details of the problem for a third time even though a ticket was issued and the same ticket number is applied in each communication. I give up. Cancelling my subscription.
Charges you a yearly subscription straight off. The scanner was limited in the information that it provided. Couldn’t get the obd live gauges to work. Better products on the market.

Why do I need to tap connect twice to connect? Many options for live data monitoring appear on the list that are not applicable to the vehicle it is connected to. Many things which should be available to be monitored do not appear on the list. Explanation of error codes could be improved in many cases.
