Beware!
They will email you subscription offers to subscribe on their website instead of App Store but there isn’t any cancellation option when it comes to renew. I was charged without my permission on their website and when u contact their support, they have auto reply saying you agreed to T&C’s. Such a predatory way to steal money from customers.
Not what it’s cracked up to be
Bought it specifically to register new battery. Didn’t work and had to get ista. Wanted to turn off an sos warning. Had to get BimmerCode. Just an overpriced fault code reader really
Ok product, poor customer service
The product offers quite good functionality. Expensive, though, and doesn’t always work reliably. Also slow to update for new vehicle models. Customer service protocols are disappointingly poor though. Unbelievably, you will never be able to update your subscription credit card once you give the card details to them, and that card will be charged without any advance notice each year. Only way out is to cancel your subscription completely, and to do that you have to contact them to get it cancelled manually.
Subscription for $140 NZD per year
This is not acceptable to demand $140 NZD per year to use this app. Just to do some coding and fault codes that is a very high price per year. This should be a one off cost. Other vendors have a better price model here.
Limited capability despite what lite version had me believe
Customisations showing on lite version don’t work or seem to get reversed again in full version. Expensive for limited capability. Certainly won’t be renewing my subscription
Very Good
Bought the adaptor and software for mini countryman R60. Found that not many codings available, and some major functions not supported, such as, Throttle control(the main reason for my purchase), NoX and etc. But you will enjoy the Codings that will customise some hidden features of your vehicle and Yes you can reset almost all service warning masseges that is great as well. I will leave 5 star rate for the Carly adaptor as I really enjoyed whatever it supported for my vehicle, and really wish it improved all the unsupported fuctions so far becomes available in near future! Thanks for the Carly Team
Great app
It’s a good app. I managed to see what I needed to fix. The only downside is that it’s $89 annual subscription. It should be a once off fee.
War am Anfang brauchbar, jetzt nicht mehr
Hatte an diesem WE Bremsen an meine Touareg 2 gemacht. Habe versucht die hinteren Bremsen in Wartungsstellung zu bringen - ging nicht! Wenn also solch durchliegenden Funktionen nicht gelingen, brauche ich dieses Dongle und die App nicht mehr.
Achtung teures Abomodell
Die App und die Funktionen sind soweit voll in Ordnung, aber leider zockt Carly seine Kunden mit einem intransparenten Preismodell komplett ab. Man kauft hier keine lebenslange Volllizenz sondern nur ein verstecktes Jahresabo. Die Kosten sind dementsprechend sehr hoch und eine Kündigung ist nur erschwert über den Support möglich.
