When I first learned of Cascable it didn’t support Nikon over USB. I sent the developers a message asking if they planned to add such support, they responded that they were planning to, and to their word they delivered, so kudos for that alone.
As to using the software, with Cascable driving my Z6ii from my iPad my focus stacking macro sessions are a lot easier. The whole interface is quite intuitive, I’ve never really felt the need to look at the documentation.

Really very good
If you've been struggling with Nikon's dreadful Snapbridge, this app will instantly improve your life. The difference is night and day.
I've only used it for transferring photos so far, but I'm confident that the other functions work equally well.
Used to be good
This used to be a good app but like so many apps these days you now have to pay for functionality that is really basic. You can no longer extract a single image from your camera to your phone without upgrading to ‘pro’.
Only one issue
This app is the only third party app I’ve found that can be used as an intervalometer for the canon eos m50. However the app does have one big downfall, for the shutter robot to work the screen needs to stay on, it cannot operate the camera when locked.
Waste of money
Felt comfortable enough to buy app from reviews but it is a big disappointment as I am unable to download photos from the Sony a6000. I was able to set up the remote shutter but it not my primary use for this app.

Sorry looks like I didn’t saw the option in the beginning for buying the app to include the intervalometer . It works for my Sony camera. Make sure that your camera is in manual focus if you want to enable this feature else it won’t trigger the camera. I had some connectivity issues even standing next to the camera. Hope that can be looked after.

Works well on a range of cameras and is much more intuitive (not to mention feature packed) than even the best first-party app. Highly recommended.

Easy and user friendly
I've have been looking for an app to do just this, it's easy to use, user friendly. Straight forward and best of all, my EOS M3 mirrorless really helps a lot given that with this app, it allows me to use intervalometer function and bulb function!!
