Everything comes to an end. After years of being my goto podcast app, it has stopped syncing about one week ago, developers are not responding and (sub)reddit is full of complaints. Cancelled my subscription and looking for an alternative.
Great app but unfortunately there aren’t listed all my favorite podcasts
I am a huge podcast addict. I am using the app every single day for an average of 8h a day. I used some other apps before, and I can tell Castro is very great. The discover tab is very interesting and might nicely surprise you. The only negative point I see is that some features are missing (apply customized filters, sort from old to new, sort by podcast length etc). Great job Castro team!
Exactly what I needed. I love that you mark episodes I've finished. Jumping 30s forward and 15s backward is great too. Love this app.
Finally is back sound control in Apple Watch (need WatchOS 5). Thanks for continually being updated.
Asi nejlepší aplikace pro podcasty. Z Overcastu mi trochu chybí chytré zrychlení a zároveň zvýraznění hlasů. Ale jinak mi vyhovuje Castro mnohem víc. Hlavně výborná organizace front.
Plus pricing is ridiculous. 4x the price of similar other apps.
Castro is so much unlike any other podcast app. It completely clicks with my brain in its methodology to triage podcasts in an Inbox/Queue format. It’s design is clean, well thought out, and intuitive in every way. I have been a subscriber for years with no plans to stop! I could not be any more happy that this app is getting the love and care it deserves with frequent updates and improvements! Thanks and keep it up!
Castro opens the podcast experience in a wholly different way so you have freedom to listen to the best. It is the ultimate podcast player.
I am so glad that Castro works again because it really is the best podcast player with the most intuitive design. Thank you for fixing it. I used to love Castro because the functionality and user interface allows me to keep my podcasts organized easily. Now it just doesn’t work. Boo.
