CBC Gem: Shows & Live TV

This is the most annoying app on the Apple TV, you have to reenter your password every 5 minutes and it features NONE of the features to make this easy. You can’t use your phone as a keyboard, no passcodes, no saved passwords. It’s ludicrously bad.

I love CBC GEM! I wish I could stream on my TV (or cast to it)

Too many commercials.

It seems to have gotten worse or developed some bugs. Freezes constantly when casting to the tv, requiring a restart. I gave up watching as it was too laborious, freezing on every commercial break. Too bad- some really good shows.

Really disappointed that so much politics and so much worldview has to come through in such a place. Downloaded it for the Olympics, but just cannot stand the Woke content. I just want info entertainment I don’t want to be condemned over and over and over again.

Whose family member got paid my tax dollars to do this?!?!! Can’t read any of this on my phone. It crashes. Absolute B$!!

Ads are endless and repetitive. Doesn’t hold your place if you stop midway. Generally not user friendly

The only option to whatch Olimpics on Canada and they would not allow to properly enjoy Olympics 2024 closing ceremony. The streaming even crashed while Playing the adv. Please, at least let us to enjoy a show as it is continuous and has not place for advertising.

Kept crashing when trying to watch the Olympics over the entire 2 weeks. Would often skip back 20-30 minutes - really unreliable for the Canadian streaming service that has monopoly over the Olympics, I expected better and to be able to consistently watch live coverage, but I was disappointed.

I constantly have to stream to my Apple TV from my iPad because the app doesn’t work. I’ve shut it down and rebooted and still all I get is the Apple swirly. The app dropped the feed during Olympic replays, too. Super annoying. But… Schitts Creek 🤷🏼‍♀️
