Links
This version includes all the advertisements you loved plus even more than before. Oh, Canada! And not to disappoint you, links still now automatically take you to them even when you accidentally touch them while scrolling. And now it’s gotten slower and even worse because of the ads, which makes accidentally touching ads pretty much guaranteed every time you use it.
And now there’s crappy video ads which makes them longer to load and it longer to scroll past them.
Buggy
Has been buggy for several years now. This latest 'phase one upgrade' version is one of the least useable yet. I love the CBC, that's why I hope they get their act together soon.
Doesn't work
If you like staring at white screens and watching the little 'loading' icon spinning in circles then this is the app for you! If you actually want to read news, then try something else.
