Circle Medical FAQ
Is Circle Medical free?
Yes, Circle Medical is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Circle Medical legit?
⚠️ The Circle Medical app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Basically nothing I’ve tried works, video appointments won’t start, the button to upload your ID to confirm identity just closes the app instead. Not very confidence inspiring for me to hand them 100’s of dollars and have the company be responsible for my medication.
Good and horrible
The doctor I’ve been using is fantastic super convenient to FaceTime. But now I need my medicine and I’ve called and I’ve opened chat messages at least 2 dozen times but I can’t get help I need my add medication but they put thee wrong code pharmacy can’t fix it until dr rewrites it. Every time I try to talk to someone they don’t understand the issue. It’s been a week I’ve figured out the issue but they still can’t do anything this might be good for people who don’t care if they get there medicine. But if your dependent upon it I’d stay away
so awful it’s actually funny
I honestly have no idea why this app has so many good reviews. i started taking appointments 3 weeks ago and not until i pushed them on it did they start to request paperwork from my old PCP. I have been off of my mental health medication now for 3 weeks because they can’t get their act together. they are a joke, it’s impossible to contact any actual person, and the providers on here are extremely unreliable. i once waited 45 min in a meeting for a doctor that never showed up. find any other option before this. this app and the people on it are so bad its laughable.
Great app, very limited value
This is a great medical advice method for busy people who need a routine blood work etc. but any sort of real medical issues this is not useful. A simple bug bite and they will not be able to diagnose it- and that is a good thing. Telehealth is great thing when you have no other options. This should not and hopefully will not replace any legitimate medical care that can be taken seriously.
Overall poor care due to operational failures
The app works well enough and the contracted healthcare providers are generally good, but the company and it’s processes are so garbage and gate-keep provider access and patient support such that the resulting quality of care is very poor. It takes at least 24-72 hrs to get a response from support for any type of inquiry. Electronic prescriptions are also routinely delayed without explanation for multiple days or just never issued. This means Circle Medical patients are routinely refused or delayed access to medically necessary care due to delayed responses from the company’s support agents.
No stress
Christie Lathan made this an experience I could do again. Thank you for this awesome app!
Poor UX.
can’t add appointment to google calendar. appointment video meeting is conducted through app only, as opposed to zoom or google meet. you have to download the app, there’s no website you can just use on a desktop.
Waste of time
They really are just a middleman between your psychiatrist and your therapist. They don’t do anything. Oh, and before any diagnosis, they require that you get a regular physical. They will not provide you with a diagnosis but they sure will charge you for one! It’s a terrible and unnecessary company.
Worst medical service ever
Forcing you to download an app without a desktop version is already a shady practice on top of making everything inconvenient as possible. Worst thing is the features of the app, customer help is portly done, you’ll never have the same rep talking to you so you have to reexplain everything all the time. Of course they are incompetent. And worse thing, they won’t give you your prescription to use wherever you want, you have to use their little selection of pharmacies where prices are ridiculously inflated. If you want to get screwed hard, download this app.
Life Changing but app NEEDS more updates
I’m so grateful I stumbled upon this app. Busy mom here who doesn’t have it in me to go go monthly appointments. I’ve met an awesome doctor who is consistent. The biggest Downfall of this app is not being able to message your provider directly. You have to go through patient advocates who take many hours to respond. So although I love the idea and my doctor I’ve found through this app the app itself needs to be updated more. We need the option to message our providers directly and respond directly. Especially now with all the pharmacy issues.
