Clean cars, friendly drivers, always on time!
Genuinely do not understand all the bad reviews!
My family and I used this service at minimum 5 times during our trip in Edinburgh. Every single time, no matter whether early in the morning or at 9 PM the taxi arrived promptly, If not early! Never had a single ride cancelled on us.
Every driver we had was also very friendly. One was kind enough to offer sight seeing suggestions for Edinburgh during one longer ride.
Cars are spacious, clean and can accommodate luggage if need be.
Yeah, it’s little pricier than Uber, but for the guarantee of professionalism, trust me, it’s well worth it!
Poor user interface
Very poor user interface compared to Free Now. Doesn’t recognise locations (names of places rather than actual addresses) and have to authorise payments with bank before each transaction. Really not user friendly at all. Needs a lot of work for me to switch from Free Now which is very easy to use.
Cab never arrived
Requested cab to arrive at 5am, after waiting 30 minutes I see a receipt saying the job had been completed at 5:06. After I complained the full charge was removed but I was still charge a £2.20 inconvenience fee.
Very good service
We used the city cab app 3 times with each instance a different pick-up/drop off and a varying number of passengers. Each time we requested a cab in the app, one was exactly where we requested it at the time we stated. I will not hesitate to use this app again while in Edinburgh.
Outstanding App!
I was on vacation in Edinburgh in late summer 2012 and used this app numerous times. Never once was the driver late. Every driver we encountered was very friendly. Great app!!!!!
