Clear Fear provides you with a range of ways to manage the symptoms of anxiety.
Developed by a clinician co-collaboratively with young people, Clear Fear uses a Cognitive Behavioural framework to help you change anxious thoughts and emotions, alter anxious behaviours and calm fear responses. It also has helpful descriptions of the different ways in which anxiety presents, resources and a 'grit box' to boost resilience.
It is recommended for the ages of 11-19 years but can be used by a younger group with the support of a parent or carer.
Clear Fear compliments, but does not substitute for the assessment and ongoing support of a mental health professional.

I saw this app on a poster at my school and as someone with anxiety I thought it was worth a try. This app was a little confusing at first on where to find things and find things that work for me but now I’m getting the hang of things and it seem great! There are lots of activities and support, explaining many different times of anxiety! The pictures are lovely and overall this app is great, not to mention FREE. I didn’t rate this app 5 because of the slight confusion one where to find things and just because there is always room for improvement!

Authentic, useful and easy
This app was recommended to me by a friend. Being someone who has a lot of panic attacks and anxiety, and who has had CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy), i can say that the app is really similar to the sessions i would usually pay for. This app has saved me many times and i highly recommend it. It is free and no ads which is something i cannot say for most other mental health apps. I find it easy to use despite my OCD which sometimes involves frustration with typing and tapping buttons on apps for example, however this app has somehow been easy to use even with such the notoriously difficult keyboard. Really helps me through a lot every day. Thank You! :)

It helps me so much when stressed and anxious . I have been on this all the time and it’s been helping me a lot just an hour ago my anxiety was night but now it’s low

I really love this app, it’s great for instant anxiety relief as well as helping you to understand, manage and cope with your anxiety. It’s layered out in an aesthetically pleasing way and so far I am not aware of any in app purchases! Definitely give the app a go

Use this app when I am struggling with my anxiety. I know that it will help me and will provide me with techniques I can use to calm myself down. It’s really accessible and being deee is even better. Wish they had one for depression as well

This app is fantastic beyond my belief the features relax me and de stress but the developers do other apps called calm harm to help self harm and move mood to help with depression so if you don’t think this is right for you I have all of these and they really help if you are having therapy or working with someone talking over this will really help too
