First time getting into Clear because of travel with family and it took 3 times longer than standard precheck at IAH in Houston. The tech is good, you can technically cut the precheck line. The bottleneck is the staff. No sense of urgency. 06/27/24 @ 06:00 Get std precheck because Clear is not usually faster and they have limited airports. I travel hundreds of flights a year and this is mostly a money grab and the staff show up but that’s about it.

We had an amazing experience in Kennedy airport with the CLEAR TEAM! One agent nicer than the other!!

Past 12 mos or so Clear is basically worthless. Lines are longer than TSA pre check and notwithstanding updating all my info , I am asked for ID almost every time ad a “random “ check.

Upon clicking Add Your Passport a window opens and closes quickly without the ability to enter any data at all. App version 2.30.0

I just joined and have not gone to provide my biometric information, but wanted to get the app set up. When I attempt to enter my phone number, it says it’s invalid. It’s not. The virtual help assistant doesn’t know how to help and the option to speak with a person requires a phone number linked to my account, which I can’t enter. The website doesn’t seem to have any way to add the number. Very upset to be in an endless loop of not able to access the app or support.

app is half broken, most features redirect to a website where you have to login again. What’s the point? For $120/year supposed to be “skip the line” service but in reality they create their own lines because of poor and malfunctioning equipment in all airports and lack of staff

Surprisingly rude staff at SAN. Felt like they just can't understand that newcomers don't know yet how the system works. So I do all biometrics carousel and I still got carded... and had go through TSA Pre-check anyway. It took longer than just doing TSA Pre-check and left me in a bad mood just leaving for the holidays and be greeted with an attitude as a new user. I just can't recommend it to any thinking person. But, on the bright side, it made me appreciate TSA employees more...

The wait at AUS airport involves 4 lines (2 split by pre check and non) and you’re better skipping and just using regular Pre-Check without CLEAR. Often takes 3-4 times as long. Since shifting here from LAX, I automatically skip and am always glad I did. Hope they can overhaul their system here because it only increases friction compared to not having it.

By far the slowest line at the airport. It’s never as advertised, a quick scan and you’re through. Every time, there is some big update that requires you to input your life story while fills in the normal line flash their id and breeze through. But hey, at least it’s really expensive on top of it. Oh, and bonus for how rude the staff is at the airport.
