CNN: Breaking US & World News Reviews

Where’s the News!

CNN was once how I got my news. There is no news on here. Just whatever is popular with the new president. Very sad to see in my lifetime.

CNN = FAKE NEWS

This company publishes all lies!! Don’t believe a word!

Bring back or refine nonsubscription access

Gourmetdoc on

United States

It was one of my go to news apps in the past ,as it was very satisfying to use with mostly relevant content. However, the experience has significantly deteriorated, with the very alienating /polarizing demand of subscription and the lack of transparency in articles available only to subscribers. This despite the plethora of advertisement and distracting/annoying clickbait. Hopefully CNN can reconsider this decision, as responses here indicate many loyal users are more likely to seek alternate relevant new sources and abandon the current app.

Terrible and completely corrupt and biased coverage

Jejeuchbsorbevxjok on

The title says it all. Corporate media sell outs. You might as well read Fox News. I’d give them minus stars if it were possible.

CNN is dangerous

Ty R, SLC on

United States

Normalizing Trump’s desire to invade sovereign nations is profoundly dangerous. Free press has always strove to stand up to autocrats and speak truth to power. CNN has abdicated their responsibility. What are they afraid of?

Oligarch-approved

Ibongopongo on

United States

Keep normalizing antisocial actions of Trump and other oligarchs. And I’ll continue to never look at your app or channel.

Nothing to brag about

App is super slow to load. So slow that sometimes I put the phone down and do other things while waiting. I wondered if it was my internet connection but it’s not. The CNN website will load easily. Also whenever I click on a video link I get a URL error message. I’ve discovered that if I click on the error message it will usually successfully load the video. Not a fan of this app. The website was so much better until they started limiting access to force us to the app. Maybe I just need to find a different news source.

CNN

Lynda Arey on

CNN has been my major, really only news app on my phone and everywhere for years. I like their anchors and news was fresh and top stories. Anchors are still good but many have been leaving. I’m finally beginning to see why. Format has changed, I’ve never used the just you or whatever tab, hate it, stories get cut off, lots of fresh, new news out there with all that is happening now, but they’re not reporting it just rehashing the same stuff minus updates for days. Videos don’t load. It’s become terrible. I hate to but I’m considering deleting it. The whole platform is incomplete and shallow and takes more time for less news than it should. I’m really disappointed.

Fix the app

United States

Please fix the app so that we can click on photos to make them larger and have the ability to read the full caption. It is ridiculous to only be able to see a tiny photos and only the first couple of lines of captions.
