A-fricking-mazing like people who make this time of stuff deserve alot respect. The amount of time and effort this probably took over years. If you are hating this app consider yourself and the person who worked very hard to make this app.

Seriously guys! You can at least put in better tutorials. I've been using this app to make projects so I can show people but I don't understand the coding and the tutorial doesn't help me. Please add in more codes like java script. But it is still an ok app when you understand the code.

It should tell you how to code instead of taping one of the games and seeing the codes what you use

Codea is the app for any level of programmer, whether it be just starting or more advanced, you can create almost whatever you want! Whenever there is a bug, the developer fix as fast as they can. Pleasant experience not just in the app, but on the forums. Would give 6/5 stars!

This app is worth the cost, even if you are already programming with different languages. Lua is simple and well suited to this app, and it is easy to get started. I took this app away to a place without Internet, and it is easy to create anything without any help other than the docs. This is from a programmer working with c# and c++, this really is good!

I'm a hobby programmer, and I've been using it for 18 months and never had so much fun. If you want to learn graphics programming, Codea makes it easier than any other language. There's a great community and forum that help you solve problems too.

This is an absolutely incredible development tool that is superior to anything else. As someone who is essentially learning from scratch (dabbled in a bit of the old Basic back in the day 20+ years ago) learning on this app has been a pleasure. I've flirted with other IDE's however no other's compare to Codea with it's user friendly environment, editing features, import support, forum community, Xcode export, demos/examples, sprite/sound libraries and the list goes on. They have left no stone unturned here and continue to raise the bar with great updates. This proves that the IPad can be a development tool which enables you to get creative and express your ideas. I've had fun creating a couple of cool little demo games and look forward to doing more with Codea as I expand my knowledge. ***5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!***
