Gut, neue Version (2.0) hat aber nicht nur Vorteile

Bin jetzt schon über 10 Jahre bei Codebook, das muss einen Grund haben. Die App läuft schnell, ist gut in iOS integriert und verlässlich. Cloud Speicher optional und kostenlos.
Schade (für mich) das der Entwickler keine Notwendigkeit für die iCloud Integration sieht. Das wäre für mich eine Aufwertung und ich wäre komplett von Dropbox und Co. weg.

Funktioniert tadellos und einfach. Update 05.04.2015 Ich bin nach wie vor sehr zufrieden mit STRIP. Ich verwende die App mindestens 1x am Tag, eher öfters und egal unter welcher iOS Version - keine Probleme. Was ich bedauerlich finde ist, das neue Merkmale nicht oder nur sehr langsam eingepflegt werden. iPhone 6 Auflösung kam erst relativ spät, auf TouchID muss man noch warten. Das lässt mich schon etwas neidisch auf die anderen Lösungen schielen.

Update 17.10.2014 Bin jetzt schon lange bei STRIP und kann der "Ersteindruck" bestätigen. Die App ist stabil, einfach und schnell. Wenn doch mal Probleme oder Fragen sind, antwortet der Entwickler innerhalb von einem Tag - das finde ich verdammt gut! Inzwischen habe ich in den "sauren Apfel" gebissen und mir die kostenpflichtige "Vollversion" für Windows gekauft. Damit gelingt auch wieder der lokale Abgleich bzw. die Sicherungskopie - das war mir wichtig. Touch ID wird leider noch nicht unterstützt. (Wegen der kostenpflichtigen und lieblosen Windowsversion sowie fehlender TouchID nur 4 von 5 Sternen.

Ob es wirklich sicher ist, weiß ich wenn das iPhone mal gestohlen wird ;-) UPDATE 19.06.2013: Ich nutzte STRIP jetzt schon eine Weile und habe bisher keine Probleme gehabt. Gerade im Urlaub um mal seltene PIN Nummer oder Kennwörter aufzurufen ist es perfekt. Leider gibt es ab der neuen Version (2.0) aber einen Nachteil. Zetetic hat sich entschlossen das kostenlose SYNC Tool für Windows nicht mehr für die neue Version (STRIP 2.0) freizuschalten und bietet stattdessen eine kostenpflichte Komplettlösung für Windows an. Es gibt also keine Möglichkeit mehr einfach und kostenlos eine Sicherungskopie auf dem eigenen (!) Rechner zu erstellen (wäre mir am liebsten). Man kann jetzt nur noch mit diversen Clouds syncen. Das ist leider keine optimale Lösung für mich. Ich bin grundsätzlich den ganzen Cloud Diensten zurückhaltend eingestellt. Wer nicht diese Einstellung bzw. Problem

Top Password Manager
I will not compare because the codebook password manager is so top that you dont need to search further. Should there be a glitch( most of the time its a wrong operatio) the support is always fast, frienly and competent, and his since the very beginning until this day.
Ich werde nicht vergleichen, weil codebook ist so top, dass es keinen Vergleich braucht. Taucht mal ein Problem auf, meist wegen Bedienungsfehler, ist der Support rasch zur Hand und hilft bis das Problem behoben ist: exzellent, vom Beginn weg bis heute.

Lässt sich nach dem Update nicht mehr öffnen
Hilfe! Nach dem Update komme ich nicht mehr ins Progamm. Ich habe die Software regulär vor vielen Jahren gekauft. Aber der Abgleich mit meine Apple-ID scheint nicht zu funktionieren. Bitte schnell beheben!
Minimalistisch und zuverlässig
Wer textuelle Schlüssel sichern möchte ist hier gut aufgehoben. Synch auf eigene WebDav-Server geht auch problemlos, sogar mit mehreren Geräten/Desktops.
Die Browserintegration ist aus meiner Sicht ausreichend und sicher. Die Auswahl an Icons ist recht überschaubar, aber ich habe da keinen großen Ansprüche.
Fazit: Einfach, Stabil und Sicher.

Nutze Codebook schon seit einigen Jahren. Früher hieß es STRIP. Ich habe zudem die MAC OS App gekauft. Alles in allem läuft sehr gut! Hatte noch niemals Probleme. Würde mich über eine Sync Möglichkeit in iCloud Drive freuen. Ansonsten bin ich wunschlos glücklich. Weiter so!

Gute Sicherheit. Es fehlen nur noch mehr Sync-Möglichkeiten z.B. auf Webdav-Share mit https und eine Linux Desktop App
