Gov of Canada has destroyed cryptocurrency, adoption through regulation throttling innovation. The lack of features for Canadians on this app are a direct result.
Don’t use the app it’s garbage
Can’t login to the app the app doesn’t work. The website doesn’t work can’t get back to my account. Don’t use it.
App is weak
60% of the time my transactions are canceled. It redundantly loads cloud-flare to verify if your human… but will not verify - just refresh the page repeatedly. It’s slow and bloated. Lots of loading errors or screen freezing. Have to reset app to fix these things. Graphs often fail to load. Nfts may or may not load into existence. The wallet is bad to. Functions, but stutters. Can’t buy directly from wallet to save on gas you ALWAYS have to send/receive transfer from coinbase exchange. Its terrible. Expensive. And when funds boil down to 30 cents or less it becomes useless and locked in. Its not only .30 cents. Its a value I should be able to re-invest elsewhere for free. Now i have to abandon it and start a new wallet. Its not like a homeless guy can pick that up off the sidewalk either, so it does nobody any damn good to be lost in cyber space. Crypto is bloody stupid for reasons like this. Wallet doesn't allow converting. Only swapping and bridging which is mostly useless since you can just send required funds over the required network from the get-go.. polygon, eth, base, optimism, etc… coinbase has lots of loading issues, quest completion issues (im still owed $45 in quests that I completed) and also their are features that do the same thing across multiple apps. If you can bridge over hop on defi, why is it even an option within the actual app. Just costs more through coinbase. And the feature wont work if you don't have $10 or more in eth to cover gas fees.
Scam
Huge scam, do not waste your time with this app. Never have written a review in my life, and coinbase prompted me to my first. There are far better crypto apps that provide better service. Worst customer support team. If you need anything expect to only be escalated through email at weeks at a time. They can’t not change or update anything through there customer service so if you have a problem your money is truly stuck. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Coinbase is bad

Canadians don’t bother using Coinbase
I have had a bad experience with these folks, transferred money using Interac, money deposited by my bank but it stayed in pending status, called them 3 times but no help whatsoever! Rather asking me to follow up with my bank…. Stay away from them!
Can’t pay for Crypto through interac
Every time I try to top up my crypto, the app redirects a hundred times and times out. Fix it. Makes this app unusable.
