Beware as Coinbase will hold your keys. If you sell anything in your portfolio, Coinbase holds the right to hold that money until it’s cleared. Taking 1 to a few days. With cryptocurrency the reasoning it was created was to get away from control. Never sell, never use Coinbase or Binance. Buy a ledger and only buy Bitcoin. Simple
Been locked out for years because of their changes to ID recognition. This company should be sued for what they are doing hold peoples money like this.
Don’t ever use their Web3 wallet. I have thousands of crypto in here but because my account isn’t “verified”, I can’t access it at all. the ID verification is supposed to take no more than 2 days, but it’s been months and my ID is STILL not verified. Completely ridiculous and unlawful

The Coinbase app do not let withdraw my US Dollar available. The withdrawal bottom do not work. The app is not letting me withdraw my money.

The fact that toggling a switch to the (free) Advanced Trader mode will cut your fees significantly reveals how confusing the Coinbase system is. It sounds good once you discover the 0.6% fee for BTC limit buys, but then you try to withdraw your BTC for the 0.1% Lightning fee and you hit a wall of glitches, broken systems and customer service with no solutions (while I was attempting to get my bitcoin off Coinbase I discovered the free Kraken Pro, and by comparison it is hands down the better cost and better experience) To resolve my Coinbase transaction I had waited the requisite 7 days since funding my account, but my Lightning withdrawal claimed CB needed to verify my ID (I tried 4 times) and after that it sat pending saying 72 hour delay. There is no other exchange or wallet that claims Lightning takes 72 hours! But after a long talk with customer service their only solution was for me to wait, or cancel and try again multiple times and at multiple invoice amounts to send to my Lightning wallet. I followed all their steps, I had a verified Lightning wallet that worked with other exchanges, yet Coinbase never made it work. I ended up paying the fees to do a full BTC withdrawal in order to rescue my Bitcoin. I consider them untrustworthy and unprofessional. My only consolation is that all this hassle drove me to discover the Pro version of Kraken (which has a flat .25% fee and free Lightning withdrawal which actually works immeadiately!)
Added money but unable to withdraw or send for 5 days!!??
