Great heating and cooling

I am very happy with my new Daikin heat pump system, it is quiet, the heat feels warmer than old system, cooling is perfect and I am saving a lot on my electric bill.

Terrible App

Can’t connect to server, no way to remedy

The Diakin thermostat is junk, the app is mediocre

unfortunately, the app is a bit slow and not intuitive. The thermostat itself is junk!

App needs some refinement

Great system so far. However, Nest app and thermostat has it beat and that’s the only factor keeping it from five stars.

Geofencing doesn’t work with multiple phones

As others have mentioned, it feels like a downgrade coming from a basic Nest or Ecobee. There isn’t a way to share a thermostat with another user, so you have to log multiple phones into the account. The auto away will shut the system down if any phone leaves the house, even if one remains. Support was friendly and told me they’re aware. I hope they fix it soon.

Terrible UX

The app design is really poor. Hard to believe how bad.

Horrible UI

Really horrible user interface, lack of functionality and no HomeKit or Siri integration. For something billed as a high end model, it really disappoints.

Fantastic so far. Just installed one week ago.

Does Not Stay Connected to WiFi

Over half of the time, the thermostat is not connected to the WiFi when I try to access via my phone. My phone will be connected but the thermostat is not.
