Disney Cruise App

M4ddie x on

This is so useful! You can message people on your cruise line!!!

Terrible UX

Dragons :) 94672 on

The UX is horrendous throughout. Feels like the output of project management leadership that utilised inside-out thinking principles with no experience of elementary B2C app design principles. Needs to be redesigned from scratch.

P2P messages don’t n’t deliver in a reasonable period. iMessage and WhatsApp are better options for communicating on Disney’s ships

Good when it works

Catcat1234567 on

The app is very useful on-board to know what is happening and where. The chat is handy to be able to message your fellow cruisers but an option to message all of your group would be handy. The two problems we had were getting the app to connect to our account, and the chat ceasing to work. Both of these problems necessitated multiple resets and was quite a nuisance. But if you are on board the benefits outweigh the issues so make good use of it.

Equal Opportunities

eric2275 on

We joined the Dream Cruise on 1st December in Miami. Our party included myself , my Wife and my disabled 13yr old son, who has Down Syndrome. My son was very keen to attend Edge, the kids club for 13+ year olds. We took him for a taster and he loved it. Unfortunately we were told that if he wanted to stay again we would not be able to accompany him and would have to leave him. We were also told by the staff there that he could leave any time he wanted and they would not stop him or inform us that he was ready to leave, so we could pick him up. I queried your equality policies and was confronted by a more senior member of staff, who was dressed all in white. Whilst simpathysing with us he confirmed the system did not cater for mental disability. I found this a little absurd when all it would have required was a telephone call or message for us to pick him up. We managed to get him in on one of the open days where parents were allowed to stay. It was interesting to see that he was in fact more well behaved than some of the other children who appeared to be disruptive and cheeky to your staff. I don’t know how you can deal with this but equality must be seen to be addressed by your company.

Bring back the Navigator

Not enough information. Unable to book things or message Guest Services. Too much screen changing. Hard to find out information and when you do there is a lack of information. Very dated.

Great cruise crap entertainment. 12 nights and only 4 Disney shows. Too many variety acts when they have a great talented Disney cast who can do solo shows as they did with one of the cast members. Give them more solo spots as I’d much rather watch them then the variety acts.

Amazing!!!!!

Everything was faultless, apart from people wearing the Disney Ears in the theatre and blocking our view maybe ask for them to be removed just for the shows !!!!!

Disney Fantasy Caribbean Cruise

I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, the fabulous food, friendly staff and our son had fun experiencing Vibe and Edge for the first time. our holiday but it is worrying that there was a problem re:payment. It is ridiculous!
