- GROOVES -
This is the main section of Drum School with over 300 drum grooves in many different styles.
Each groove comes with:
- Standard drum notation with high quality graphics in portrait or landscape mode.
- High quality audio made from real drum samples that loop for play along practice.
- Variable tempo range of 30 to 300 bpm without any loss of audio quality.
- Audio isolation of what each limb is playing, allowing the student to break down the groove into its basic components, learn them separately, and finally put them back together in various combinations.
- Bass lines that help learning and experiencing the relationship between the drums and the bass in each style in a fun way.
- High quality video performance by the author of the app, established and world renowned drummer, Ferenc Nemeth. The video speed can be adjusted and the more advanced grooves come with an extra video at a slower tempo.

Fills not working now
Good app but the recent update made the fills section no longer work. Developer website is also down. How do I get support?
Practical and intuitive
Love this app have been using it for at least 4 years. The app is a great practice tool and an easy to follow practical means of learning. I've played for 30 years and I'm still learning new things through tools like this and watching other drummers play and communicate what they play. Thanks

Worth every penny. Best of the drum apps - perfect for practice. Video and sheet music on same screen works well as does the ability to speed up and down to suit skill level. Dozens of styles to play with and learn. Well done guys!
Take anywhere Reference
This app is great for the drummer on the move. Simply open the app on your iPhone or iPad and you have a great reference tool!

Overall this is an ok app. The only app problem I have seen is the sync of the score can be off at times. As for the content of the lessons, most of the patterns and fills are pretty basic, with a few tricky ones thrown in. There is also a fair amount of repetition. The quality of bass backing tracks is probably the worst aspect of the app. To improve some additional content would be nice. Maybe some better fills and bass backing tracks. A section in the app with longer backing tracks would also be nice as the 1 and 2 bar loops are pretty monotonous.
