Good except one thing…
The app is overall great for tracking your progress estimating savings etc. The risk assessment needs work. My score is great except one question asks if anyone has asked you to quit drinking in the last 12 months. I quit drinking just 5 months ago and prior to that of course my family expressed concerns. So my risk score is 6/12. That in itself isn’t overly encouraging but the really annoying thing is that the app keeps prompting me over and over again to retake the assessment. The answer to that ONE question will not change for another 7 months. Yes, I can ignore it but the overall experience is less than positive and the score and prompt is “in your face”. I expect anyone using this app would like nothing but encouragement and this one thing is just a constant reminder of the past we are working hard to break free from. So I would suggest either improving the assessment to allow for more questions or fine tuning of responses or eliminate it altogether.
Constant motivation
This app has been so helpful in keeping me motivated to stay dry. I enjoy seeing the results and my achievements on a daily basis. I really enjoy the overall tab where I can see how many days I have not drank and how much money I have saved.
Thank you for helping me to learn a new way of living without alcohol. I wish I had started much sooner.
It has good features
I only wish it gave you options of size of wine or half portions. The smallest glass of wine is 125ml and the point of alcohol reduction is drinking smaller sizes. Or a half glass. But it only lets you log 125ml or a 250ml glass. I don’t like that feature
Liked it before
With the recent update it is no longer super easy to log your alcohol free days. I don’t like it and will look for another app for tracking
Motivating
I really enjoy this type of tracking. I’m early days sobriety and it’s more helpful for me to see SUCCESSES as well as drinking days to help motivate me (compared with continually having to “reset to day 1” which is the opposite of motivation for me)
Works great for me
I have not had issues except Canada isn’t listed not sure why since there’s Canadian currency.
My UK friend could not get it to work for her at all unfortunately.
