The Remote Control enables you to easily make changes to your hearing aid(s) to suit your personal preferences for various listening situations. You can easily adjust the volume and various hearing aid features (e.g., noise reduction and microphone directionality) or select pre-defined programs according to the different listening situation you are in. Additionally, you can make quick adjustments to the pitch of the sound in the equalizer by using the presets (default, comfort, clarity, softer, etc.) or more personalized adjustments using the sliders (bass, middle, treble).
The Remote Support allows you to meet with your hearing care professional through a live video call and have your hearing aids adjusted remotely. (by appointment)
Numerous functions are available within the Health section such as Steps* and Wearing time*, including Optional goal setting*, Activity levels*.

Finally, Easy Line Remote allows for configuration of Touch Control, setting up cleaning reminders and provides additional information, such as battery level and status of connected hearing aids and accessories.

Very frustrating app
When it works, it’s great. But that’s a rare occasion. At least twice a month it completely forgets my hearing aids, with the only solution to delete, reinstall, and reconnect your devices. You connected to a different streaming device? To bad, the app no longer recognizes your Bluetooth hearing aids. You are forced to delete the app in order for it to recognize your hearing aids them again. And even so, it might recognize your devices as streaming devices, but usually it’s one out of three tries (deleting and reinstalling each time). Possibly the most frustrating app I’ve used. Do better!
Update: the support team reached out to get details of the troubles I’m having with this terrible app, and included a website/webform to send the details of my issues. Only problem? The submit form link is not working! (It adds www.www.www. to the URL which makes the address unresolvable).
My one star rating would be lower if possible.
What app
I’ve never been able to connect my hearing aid to this app. Very unuser friendly
Very frustrating and shockingly buggy
1) Sometimes the hearing aids will not connect. Period. The only way to fix it is to uninstall every thing and start over.
2) The app randomly changes listening profiles. Randomly… on its own.
3) Any of the these random changes in profiles automatically and unhelpfully enables the mute button.
4) Get a phone call? Hear the profile change tune… Mute is turned on. In the middle of a phone call? Hear the profile change tune…Mute is turned on. Stream music? Hear the profile change tune… Mute is turned on. Walk away from the phone and come back… Hear the profile change tune… Mute is turned on. It is not even clear what the mute button does.
5) The most shocking news: There are multiple online reports that Sonova knows of these bugs … and has done nothing to address them.
6) The contact support url provided in the app is mistyped so there is a no server at that address message that comes back. If you’re knowledgeable you can manually edit to make it work. That’s just poor QA and someone should be ashamed of themselves.

Suffice to say that I would never recommend a Phonak hearing aid because of the piss poor app. There is another Phonak app that may work better with Phonak branded devices but it will not work with the Kirkland branded devices.
Useless app
Rarely does a he app connect to hearing aids anymore. If it does, it usually takes 3 to I 5 attempts and I get it to connect.
If his started happening within the last six months.
Never actually connects to my hearing aids.
Doesn’t matter long I wait, how many times I try, it will not let me change the programming, settings, etc. Garbage application.
Program is weak
Very hard to use and l’ve tried for 3 years. Most of your directions don’t work or are beyond my capacity to understand your words. I simply want to turn my hearing aids to 1 click below ringing in my ears to maximize volume and not have to do this 3-4 times a day. Let me set aids to high volume, just below constant ringing and leave that setting until I change it, rarely. Your other 35-99 things just add confusion.

I have been having problems staying connected to Easy Line. At this point only my left hearing aid will connect.
I’m very disappointed.
