Why is this app asking my username and password so often??? Do we really need this level of security to see if it’s windy?

All worked well until recently then the rain gauge won’t register amount any suggestions ?

VIDEOS DONT PKAY WITHIN THE APP NOW ! 1) Camera image settings need to be easier to tweak. For example, brightness is only possible at -2,-1,0,1 and 2. There needs to be more in between those 5 settings. Same for contrast/hue etc. 2) Intervals need to be better, 5 mins to 25 mins is not broad enough. Maybe have a 1 minute setting, up to an hour. 3) Why do you need my PRECISE location ? 4) I noticed in the settings of the camera that it was defaulted to “Is public”. I DONT like that. I switched it off. Why would I want my camera to be public ????

It’s annoying that on my iPad app local data clicking on graphs now requires me to confirm the selection each time for temps, wind & rainfall. Bit tedious.

Makes you register without giving any reason to do so and then just shows a spinning icon. The in app ‘help’ just says “There is no answer?” I’m trying to use it with a GW1100 gateway I’ve had to setup the gateway manually via the built in web ui. There is no way to tell the app what IP the gateway is using. It attempts to discover it and fails every time

the sensors work well. the app is an abomination. it works sometimes. now its asking for new password. haven’t been able to log in over a week. worthless non information stupid people.

I’m not interested in granting the app access to my location. But the app refuses to do ANYTHING unless it has permission to my location. So I briefly granted it access, got the ecowitt gateway onto my WiFi, then I deleted the app. There is really very little reason to use this app other than the first time you provision the ecowitt gateway.

This app is so well done that it is a sad embarrassment to Weather Underground. The EcoWitt charts are exceptionally good and work the way I’d want them to work. It fetches the data quickly. The map is decent quality. It is flexible in terms of how it presents its data. It is reliable.

App stopped working after 5 days. Won’t let you log in or contact support. Other apps work so it’s not the equipment. Please fix app!

Installed the app and got hung up in setting up moisture sensors. Deleted the app and tried to log back in, and now the app will not work. Spins for a sec but does not login, will not send captcha to reset pw. I assume the api may be down because its totally useless now. Cant even use the support on the app had to email the us support email. Emailed support for help, hopefully they will respond in less than a couple days.
